Owner description: Soft white beaches and clear blue waters make this bay a popular tourist destination.

Very picturesque, low waves, water stays shallow well away from the shore-good/Safe kids’ beach. Relatively short, if you’re wanting a LONG beach walk, you would need to do laps on this one(~0.3 mile long)
Not over crowded, looks to me to be populated mostly by the people staying/living in the homes/condos on that stretch of sand
It’s definitely worth visiting, although a little hard to find; the following directions should help.

Drive all the way down S. Dock Rd. You’ll pass through industrial district-not the prettiest parts of Provo. Finally, you’ll reach an S-curve with a gas station on the left and big yellow stucco building on the right. Just after the building is a sign labeling Chalk Sound, turn right into road. Go very short distance(200ft) to well traveled dirt road on left. At the end (1/4mile) is dirt parking lot. Walk through public access corridor to beach

Sapodilla Bay is on the SW side of the island so it is generally well protected with nice sand and gentle sloping warm water. There is modest parking on the entrance side of the road and also across the street. There are a couple of local vendor tents offering jet ski rentals and snorkel rentals. Only downside is the lack of restroom facilities or food/beverage so pack your cooler for this trip but you won't be disappointed. Relatively short drive to Bugaloos from some conch and beverage on your way back to your hotel or condo.

Sapodilla is a close 2nd for me when it comes to beaches. Quiet, clean and calm. There are quite a few residences on the beach with private beach frontage, so there isn't as much public space to roam around on but enough to put down a chair & umbrella.

We rented a car for the whole week we stayed in TCI and I highly recommend doing so. We stayed in Grace Bay but took the day to spend in Sapodilla Bay (it is only about 20 minutes or so from Grace Bay by car). It is a beautiful little beach/ bay. You can rent jet skis, stand-up paddle or just sit and relax. I did the SUP and a little bit of snorkeling by the rocks. Was able to see a turtle from the SUP. Beautiful homes around also. After enjoying the bay just go a little further to the Chalk Sound National Park. The color of the water is something else. Anyways, Sapodilla Bay is a must see in TCI.

Driving to Sapodilla Beach isn’t the prettiest. It’s near the industrial area and at one point I suggested we just turn around. Wow, I’m really glad we didn’t. This beach was gorgeous! You can walk quite far out before it gets deep. Soft sandy bottom and crystal clear blue waters!

It wasn’t very crowded but as others have mentioned, when the tide is high beach area becomes small because of the private homes.

I highly recommend a visit to Sapodilla and on the way home pop by Turks Head Brewery as its on the way.
