A most spectacular place/ and a must see! The sign for villa Bari that other reviewers refer to in other posts is gone (this is the where the secret hard to find path is) but just look for the few cars parked on the right side just down the road a little off of the main road and you’ll find it.
Oh man -this place is definitely worth finding!

Quiet, beautiful beach. Calm and clear for swimming. Shallow. Near Chalk Sound. Would return in a heartbeat.

Gorgeous soft-white sand beach with crystal clear blue water. Extremely shallow bay is excellent for cooling off and wading. Fun for both adults and kids. The entrance path off Ocean Point Dr is a bit rough, and only a short hike from the unpaved street to the beach entrance. We were graced with the friendship of a local dog named George (pictured), and also chatted with his owner (Ron), who has lived on Provo for 30 years.

Visited January 7-12, 2018 after experiencing the beach over the past two years. I was worried about visiting since last year one villa owner took it upon himself to install a locked gate preventing public access. While visiting the beach this past week I was approached by a Turks Conservation Officer asking about my experience and him confirming that the beach was for public use and that the locked gate was torn down by the government at the beginning of Jan 2018. Officer also confirmed that the parting on the street was not a problem and that the government required parking for beach access. No that the gate is gone don't hesitate looking for and spending time at this wonderful place.

Visited just yesterday (1/14/2018) and the gate is open. Directions for how we found it below.

Our favorite beach by far. Mostly empty due to the difficulty of finding it. So shallow you can walk out for what felt like ages and still only have the water come up to your waist. Really just an all around lovely place. Go before the developers figure out how to restrict beach access again.

To get there: Drive down Chalk Sound Drive. Turn onto Ocean Point Drive. It will say private at the start of the street, ignore that. About halfway down the street you will see cars parked on either side of the street. That's how you know you're there. We parked there with no problem. The entrance is on the right, past the sign for Villa Bari, which is the development of three identical white villas. Look for the place where it was obvious a gate use to be. You won't be able to see the beach from the opening, but a few short steps down you will. Trust me. Worth it.
