This beach was a decent size and has pretty views of Christiansted. You have to pay $5 round trip to ferry over to it. The restaurant and bar is still closed from the hurricane so there isn't much to do except soak up the sun or snorkel. You do have to rent any umbrellas ($10) and chairs ($10) which is only worth it if you pack food and only plan to stay for the day.

To get to this beach you have to pay $5.00 per person roundtrip to ride the ferry from the boardwalk. The beach itself is a great calm sandy beach, great for snorkeling, especially beginners. The only downside is that we visited this December and the island having been damaged from Maria was still recovering so there was no restaurant or bar at the beach. There was a small snack shop where you paid your ferry fee that you could get packaged drinks and food.

Ferry costs 5 USD. Most of the island is reserved hotel guests. Fee on beach chairs: 5 USD/day (as far as I remember).

An excellent beach with a bar and restaurant within easy walking distance. Crystal clear water with lots of sand and sun. Go there to forget about it all and soak in the sun.

Protestant Cay in downtown Christiansted, is a paradise within itself. I live on the island of St. Croix and I enjoy this serene spot as often as I can. With a hotel on one end of the bay and a resturant on the other, Protestant Cay offers a relaxing beach for family and friends alike with its turquoise waters and sugary sand. The ferry is $5 round trip but, it is worth it. Enjoy all that downtown Christiansted offers.
