I was in St Thomas for a short one night stay so this hotel was suitable enough. It is close to the airport. All the rooms have a balcony view of the ocean which is amazing! The beach is literally right there! If it weren't for mosquitos and humidity I'd probably have slept with the balcony door open but you could still hear the ocean waves through the closed doors! Loved that! The room seemed clean overall however there were many Mosquitos in the bathroom and you could see a bunch of smashed Mosquitos on the ceiling and walls of the bathroom and entryway. Not sure about all rooms but apparently Mosquitos have been an ongoing issue in the room I stayed in. We had the Friday night buffet and breakfast the next morning in the Carribean Fusion hotel restaurant. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great...being right on the water. Outstanding view of the bay but I thought the food was just average. It was overpriced (but I'm sure everything in St Thomas is). The wait staff was very friendly but service was SOOO SLOW! We will probably be traveling back for another overnight soon and I wouldn't mind staying here again but we will probably avoid the restaurant this time. If I were staying in St Thomas for an actual leisure vacation I personally would look for another hotel.

Before we went, I read the reviews going back over the last year. By reading that many reviews, you can get a pretty good idea of the common pros and cons, and be able distinguish what is reality and what is just the venting of fickle person who had a bad experience. With that being said, here are my pros and cons from 1/28-2/2/2015. Pretty much what I expected going in.
PROS- Easy access to airport, noise is not a factor. Rooms clean and adequately furnished and decorated, plenty of pillows. Pool is nice, clean. All rooms on beach with view off balcony. Beach was not too crowded most days. Beach bar was nice, bar staff was great. Bar food was good. Breakfast food at restaurant was ok. Taxi's always available out front. Lobby staff great, housekeeping great. Overall, atmosphere was good.
CONS- Friday night buffet in the restaurant sucked, the food was just plain bad, and the service was horrible. Service was beyond slow in the restaurant, even when they were not busy. Cats and chickens running around everywhere didn't really bother us, but does give it a low scale feel.
RECOMMENDATIONS: If you book a tour from the gift shop in advance, ask to be notified 24 hours in advance of possible cancellations. We were called 30 minutes prior to 7am pick up that it was cancelled for not enough people. Try one of the local restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Gladys Café in the city is great for breakfast or lunch. Hook, Line, and Sinker for dinner.
I would recommend to stay here if you are planning to go to St Thomas. Overall it is good, just stay out of the hotel restaurant. Order from the bar menu if you want to eat, other than that it is overpriced and extremely slow service. Do not do the Friday buffet or Sunday brunch, you will regret it.

We spent the afternoon and night at this hotel before our flight back to the states after a 10 day yachting experience in the British Virgin Islands and it is a great place to unwind before your flight back home. The atmosphere is great, the food is great and the beach bar is wonderful. With it's location very close to the St. Thomas airport, it makes it an ideal hotel for you pre-flight home. I would recommend this as an option even though the cost is a little pricey, the pluses outway the cost of the stay.

Room tip: Try to get your rooms on the ground floor as this hotel does not have any elevators. The view from the balcony is spectacular.

If you like to walk on the beach and enjoy the water, this is a great place to be. It has one of the best beaches we visited in St.Thomas. The sand is firm, doesn't get hot and burn your feet and the beach is quite long. The resort rooms all face the water, they are quite spacious, with nice balconies. Very affordable and very close to the airport and a car is not really needed.
The restaurant is very good and the staff are friendly and helpful.
I would gladly stay there again and would definitely recommend it.

Excellent location with every room facing the water and being feet from the beach is amazing. Morgan the bar tender is super friendly, makes great drinks, and gives good suggestions for things to do around the island.
Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful always greeted us with a smile.
Housekeeping was very thorough.
The only downside was the lack of for meals at the restaurant. Many times the restaurant we're out of items that were listed on the menu. We ordered a lot off of the bar menu which seem to have a better variety and never ran out of choices.
There are wild roosters that wander the property and if you're in the right building you will hear them wake you up bright and early.
There are always taxis ready and waiting to take you anywhere you need to go. Make sure you ask the price before you get into the taxi. The best taxi drivers were Mary and Lepee

Room tip: Every room is a good room because they all face the water and have quick access to the beach. Be aware if you are in building three or four you will be woken up by a rooster. It is actually quite funny and you do get used to it.
