There is a lot of interaction with staff members unlike typical luxury resorts. If you're looking for more of a native owned family feel type of resort then this is for you. You really feel like you're a part of a community here. The entertainment crew is super fun and they definitely did a good job to help keep your schedules filled throughout the day, so don't worry about being bored. Met entertainers Lavanda and Larry. Amazing fun people. Lavanda's toga tieing skills are A1. Drinks prepped for you are definitely meant to get you drunk and walls in the rooms are thin. Garden of Eden at the resort is a must have.

Let me start off with .... I am most grateful for Hotel Mgr Mr. Devon Miller, Doneschia & Tamika sorry if I misspelled any names
We arrived on March 25th my husbands birthday. Upon checking in I was inform there were no King size bed available, which we had requested and to check back the next day. The room we was intially given was room #107 absolutely unacceptable, Dark, Dank, & Dreary the bulbs very low dimmed, the bathroom worst, the terrace has no privacy so you can open the curtain.
However after lodging my complaint, Mr. Miller did indeed upgrade us to Ocean View with plenty of lighting king size bed & complementary Cobanas.
However there are no mini refrigerator in the rooms and if you want 1 you have to rent it and stock it yourself! I travel alot and never have I had a room w/O a mini refrigerator.
Breezes need serious upgrading, Mr. Miller saved this trip for us! The food so-So the pool needs an overhaul I didn't bother to get in it didn't lk clean enough for me, however the walk along the beach was beautiful! 3night stay was suffice for me!
to say I would not recomend to my friends Sorry!

First time in the Bahamas and picked Breezes due to location (right on Cable beach!), price and the all-inclusive package. Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for the week ! Traveled with 2 other families for our kids' spring break week... parents enjoyed the sun poolside with close access to food (pool grill) and drinks (pool bar) while kids enjoyed being able to drink at 18! (Legal age in Bahamas) and ALL of the great activities most of the day/night so they were never 'bored'. !! People are from all over so we all met new people and had a great time! (Shout out to Boston crew and the couple from Canada!) :))
We arrived later in the day on a Saturday and Livingston brought us drinks from the bar while we waited to check in !! ALL of the staff were very friendly and were more than happy to help with whatever we needed during our stay. They do have several resort tours at certain times throughout the day so check the activity board across from the pool tables by the lobby bar for times - we decided to take the tour the evening of check in and this is where we met Larry from the entertainment staff. He gave us the 5 star tour and is a very personable young man with a great sense of humor :) - during our 7 day stay, Larry would always stop to talk to us when he'd see us around and ask about what we were up to and how we were enjoying our stay, etc. - he really personalized our stay so HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO LARRY!!! You're the bomb!
Our room was in the West tower, 3rd floor, was very clean, beds were ok (very soft and I'm not used to that) and just have comforters (no top sheet) but that is all we needed !! No ceiling fans but you do have your own a/c and fan control (vent in wall). No screens on the sliding doors so we didn't sleep w/the door open at night because we heard about mosquitoes (even though we never did see any while there !) - And, yes, housekeeping sometimes arrived at 9 am to clean the rooms but sometimes they didn't get to it until later in the day, too. We were usually out the door by 9 am so that was never a big deal. We did have to ask for more bath towels daily (I would just leave a note on the bed as a reminder) as there were 3 of us in the room and they only left 2 towels the first day but otherwise there were no issues w/the room. The safe for our valuables was in the closet and was missing the lock.. turns out we had to ask at the front desk for it which we got w/no problem. Our friends next door had a digital one w/a code so they are all different. We only used it for our passports and cash - not large enough for laptops, etc. - TV has quite a few channels, including HBO and HBO Family.
The resort is VERY clean.. they are always cleaning. You may get a whiff of vinegar now and again around the resort as I believe this is what they use to clean a lot of the areas... bar area, floors, etc. But it's not overpowering as this is an 'open-air' resort... main bar is in the lobby, which is also the location of the nightly entertainment, pool and ping pong tables, gym, game area , etc. - GREAT nightly show with Funky D !! Again, check the activity boards (one by the pool and the other across from the pool tables in the lobby) for daily/nightly activities. The entertainment staff is really great!! Awesome humor and great at getting people involved !!
There were a few spring break groups while we were there but we never had an issue with them. They stay in the East tower, the resort has activities for them also on the East end of the beach, etc. - they eat on a certain side of the buffet dining room also.
Take #10 or #12 bus downtown. Bus stop right outside and down the walk a bit from the resort. $1.25 p/p both ways. Downtown was ok - most shops sell the same souvenirs and there were a LOT of jewelry stores ! One every 5 feet it seemed like. This is also where the cruise ships come in so it's a little congested. Straw market was interesting but a little claustrophobic. it seemed like everything and everyone was just jammed in there - barely room to move. They do sell similar items to the other shops but you can barter pricing at the straw market. :) -
Take the shuttle over to Baha Mar and visit the casino! Their shops were out of our league (Tiffany's, Rolex, etc.) and we heard their restaurants were very expensive so we didn't even attempt that. But we did enjoy the casino a couple of nights. Shuttle is every 15 minutes or you can have the front desk call for it if it isn't around.
BRING YOUR OWN DRINKING CUP FOR SURE !!! We did after reading reviews before we left and so glad we did ! They serve in the 8 oz plastic cups (which was fine on some days when we curtailed our drinking) but we loved the mudslides there and they have no problems filling up 18-24 oz cups! They also sell some in the gift shop there for $12 I think. Bottled water in the gift shop was only $2.33 for 12-18 oz bottle. We had no problem buying bottles every day and just having in our room. You can rent a fridge for $10/day but we were fine w/out it. We also drank their water w/no issues. We brought our own beach towels. You can sign out beach towels there but they have to be turned in by 6 pm or they charge you for them. We never had any issues with finding available pool loungers either.
We only ate at the buffet and pool grill and never had any complaints. Food is great there ! I believe the times for the buffet are: Breakfast: 6-10 am, lunch: 12:30-3 pm Dinner: 6:30-10 pm and snack attack was 12-2 am. There is a placard on the desk in the lobby for the other on-site restaurants. They have an activities desk in the lobby where you can book excursions also.
*** Overall... we had an excellent week. I felt very relaxed there and the staff was great !! Awesome location, not too busy. They all made us feel very welcome. :)

Having been to multiple all-inclusive across the Caribbean this location gives you a lot of bang for your buck! We were looking for an inexpensive girls get away and that what we got!
The location is close to the airport and the layout of the resort is great. Not a large property so convenient to get around and other than one very busy day chairs were available at beach every day and no line-ups in the buffet.
The food was great and a reservation were not required for the ala crates.
The staff were always friendly and service was great.
No balcony was a disappoint,
Also there are no fridges in the room and a lack of easily accessible drinking water was a concern. You had to go to the bar for water and when it was closed there was no place to get water? This resort caters to March Break students and with the heat and the alcohol consumption I think this resort really needs to look at solution for this matter?

We celebrated by husbands birthday with a first trip to the Bahamas. Picked Breezes for location, price, and all inclusive. Check in was a bit sketchy as the young man wasn't to talkative and didn't give good info on where we could get a meal, and didn't offer a resort map. We arrived around 9:00 in the evening and were able to get a late dinner at the Buffet. The resort out did them selves with our room, decorated it with balloons and fun stuff for my hubby, and gave us a room with a beautiful ocean view. Our housekeeper Rose was awesome and kept our room clean and stocked the entire stay. We noticed all the staff working hard to keep the resort clean and maintained, always cleaning the pools each morning, everyone was friendly and helpful. Fabulous beach area, we rented a cabana twice and had endless food and drink.Buffet above average and offered a good variety of food. We went to two of the 3 restaurants,Martino's and Eden, and loved the food, ambiance, and excellent service. The trick is to arrive at least 1/2 hour prior to seating and plan on waiting, but well worth it. Took the free shuttle to Baha Mar next door to try our luck at the Casino, and rode the #10 bus to town several times. This is the best way to go to Nassau, only $1.25 each way so easy. Took a taxi to Atlantis, not really worth the hype as we chose not spend $100+ to go to their water park. Even with it being Spring Break, had a great time, although I do think the resort "scaled things down" to avoid theft and breakage, ie no alarm clock, pen/paper, coffee maker, broken safe, in room. I do reccommend Breezes and will go back.

Room Tip: Higher floor, ask for quieter section
