The rooms are spacious and everything was clean and well maintained. We did have a few issues with things missing from the unit that we had to call about (linens for pull-out, pots/pans, etc.), but they delivered them once requested. I have to say that they do a great job with mosquito control. Nine of us there for one week and not one bite!!! The resort is very pricey, but the food is descent and the drinks (while expensive) had plenty of alcohol! The lifeguards at the pools are a joke. There are plenty of them, but the majority are either on their phones, talking with guests or having conversations with each other. One was sound asleep half out of her chair!

My family has so much fun with the activities in Atlantis that come with staying here! The people are very friendly. Yes it is a very expensive place but we knew that going there. The rooms are a bit disappointing as they are old and tired. They tried renovating the place with newer furniture but you can see that the resort has been around as the doors and the door handles are quite old with gaps that allow road noise to seep in. Do not pick units that are near the tunnel. The shuttle going to Atlantis was very convenient and comes often.

Thought this was all amazing scenery of the marina right out side. It was beautiful when we could walk the marina to the royal towers which was located right across the water. There was a pool in the resort.

Room tip: If you get a choice I would say you should stay in the room on the top floor to see up high.

Loved it and appreciated the advise of packing groceries. Pool closes too early but we still swam. Pick up towels during the day if you plan on the hot tub or pool in the evening. Favorite beach, paradise and cove.

Room tip: We wanted a water view but didn't get one. In the long run I'm glad we had a balcony instead of the view. We enjoyed sitting outside for breakfast and in the evening. I wouldn't want by the overpass but was content where we were. I appreciated the other reviews to pack foods. I packed canned chicken for salads for lunch. Cereal, peanut butter, laundry pods in a container. Crackers in hard plastic containers. I also tried packing 2 frozen steaks and was surprised they were still frozen when we got there. But no grill to cook them on. Milk ran between 6 to 8 dollars a gallon.!!! Ouch! I felt silly packing the food but very glad we did. Loved the cove beach and paradise beach. Take the shuttle to the cove , it's a much shorter walk to the beaches. We think our adult children would like all that there is to do there. Rapid river is the best!!! Plan on going back.

We travelled to The Harborside Resort in Atlantis in May 2014. All in all we had a really nice time, although we got off to a rocky start. Our plane arrived before 10 am. We used Cheryl's Taxi to get to the resort and I highly recommend them. Our driver was waiting for us, always professional and their prices very reasonable. We stopped at the grocery store for groceries and spent a lot of money on perishable items. When we arrived at the resort we were told our room wasn't ready and probably wouldn't be ready until 4. It was only 1130. The staff told us that they could hold our luggage until the room was ready, but couldn't do anything to keep our food cold. We spent the day worrying about hundreds of $ of food spoiling. Our room wasn't even ready at 4, and we didn't get to get our food into a fridge until almost 5. The bellman were unpleasant and we weren't sure if they wanted us to tip them in order to do so something with our food. That out of the way, once we were in our rooms we had a wonderful trip. The rooms are large and clean. They could use some updating on the appliances for sure, but we didn't encounter anything too bad or have any problems while we were there. The marina is beautiful to walk through. The yachts are amazing. Atlantis itself was great. Very clean and a lot of fun. The beach is beautiful. Paradise Island is so pretty. On our next trip we'd like to get out and explore the island a little more. The most important tip, if you're arriving early and bringing food, make sure you have a cooler and ice.
