Just came here for a day trip with a beach pass off the Holland America Nieuw Statendam. This was a last minute decision due to a port change since Key West banned ships that carry over 2,500 passengers from visiting their ports. I applaud Key West as they realize the cruise ship industry is destroying a bit of their culture. This hotel sits out on a port that is protected by a mid-sized jetty that will protect you from the eastern prevailing winds. The water looks like a swimming pool. The service here is fantastic and you can sit on the beach or by the pool and get great service. They have a nice full size but very basic menu that includes conch tacos. I had this dish as it was incredible. I love fried conch so this is a great place to get it and it is included with the $75 all inclusive price that you can get when you show up after a $7 cab (pp) from the main cruise terminal. They're under new management as of a couple of months ago so they are working extra hard to earn your business. You should come over here and forfeit going to Pirate's Cove. If you have been on a cruise all week and this is your last stop, this is a great way to get away from the crowds and just completely disconnect and unwind so you can enjoy a wonderful afternoon listening to waves crash against the beach. If this is your first time on a week long cruise, this is a perfect way to get yourself into the tropical/ Caribbean mood. Currently we are listening to our own little playlist on the phone and there is no one near us. The beach looks a little bit like a Microsoft screensaver. Thumbs up!

Room tip: We are used to going to all-inclusives like a Secret level or higher. This all-inclusive day pass is $75 and checks all the boxes.

Just back from a 6 day stay at Lighthouse Pointe,. we loved every minute! The staff , especially in bars and restaurants are excellent, very friendly and helpful. Brilliant DJ Barry kept fantastic tunes going all day , along with the fun pool games. The food was delicious, huge servings. I only wish we didn't live so far away so we could visit more often

The hotel is very well kept. Not a lot ppl there at the time but we didn’t mind the exclusiveness. The hotel staff esp Gazelle (receptionist) at the front desk. She definitely went above and beyond to help us. Unfortunately, we ended our stay early due to issues with the “all-inclusive” plan. The food was not good at all. The all inclusive plan does not include “top shelf” drinks. Paying for an all inclusive plan and still having to go out and buy descent food and a descent brand of liquor is absurd. Also, some restaurants are still not open. I recommend if you go here..don’t get the all inclusive plan….just pay the normal rate.

OMG! It is a pleasure to be amongst a staff, the entire staff, that truly enjoy what they do! Service was impeccable, food was delightful, drinks were delicious, especially top shelf drinks (for an extra fee of course). The Lighthouse staff saved our lives; we originally reserved a rm at “the other” all-inclusive resort on the island, affectionately called “The Roach Motel” by our cab driver. Once we came to our senses and tried to salvage our Anniversary wkd, we called the “Lighthouse” in desperation and they TOTALLY delivered. I am a believer and will definitely book there again when we are in their neck of the woods. It was scenic; we took many pics. We had so much fun. We were able to converse with the staff and had quite a few laughs! Barry the DJ, was so much fun. Cannot say enough about how much fun we had and how we were able to reconnect bc the staff were on top of their game.

Room tip: Book a room. You will not be disappointed.
