First time here. Service is excellent, villas are clean. It backs on to a canal with the pool overlooking it. On the other side or the villa, cross the road and a quick few minutes walk to the beach. Wifi and laundry was included. We rented a car ( recommended to get around and do your own tours ) and were out everyday checking out the island.

I had a ground floor apartment right next to the swimming pool and as there were few people at the apartments, I virtually had use of the pool to myself for early morning coffee and evening swims. I was here 4 days and saw the pool cleaned on 3 of those days and twice I saw the water quality being tested and chemical added as required. The apartment itself had kitchen adjoining the living-room, to large bedrooms, a family bathroom and an en suite in the main bedroom with a Jacuzzi as well. Television in every room, large fridge and good cooker. The place was clean if a little tired. Air conditioning fine and no problems with security etc despite what I saw in another review. The beach across the road was a bit disappointing but so what. I was here for 4 days on business so the lack of facilities and distance to a shop were no bother to me as we ate whilst at work during the day and by evening did not really want to go anywhere so just a few cold beers sufficed. Be aware that you can not by beer in supermarket only in specialist shops and they do not open on Sundays. There is a delivery service foe Chinese and pizza but the portions are huge so don't over order.
I would definitely stay again if not only to see my little ginger cat friend who turned up (looking for food) and now I know the score, I would be better prepared food and drink wise.
The rooms are maintained daily by a girl but sheets changed mid week unless you ask. Plenty of towels etc.
I have stayed at Dundee Bay Villas multiple times, usually at the end of February. The place is very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly, anything you need just ask and it's done. The resort is about 200 ft. from the beach, great view from the second and third floor balconies, ocean in the front canal in the back. The suites are well equipped with including appliances, TV's etc.
Guests can use a gas bbq located in the back patio by the swimming pool.
It's always a pleasure to stay at Dundee Bay Villas, for us, this place is a second home.
Started our holiday in the Bahamas here. I must admit we didn't realise that this hotel is about a US$20 trip away from Lucaya which can add up if you don't hire a car (if you stay here hire a car).
Check in was simple. The room was ready and the staff were very friendly.
Latoya is brilliant at reception. Nothing is ever a problem and she is always on site to help you out.
As I said the location is out of town and there are no real places to eat that are close by. There is a convenience store about a 30minute walk away if you feel like going there.
The rooms are self contained so you can go to the store get some stuff and cook for yourself or Dominos, Pizza Hut and a chinese restaurant all deliver.
The rooms look onto a beautiful canal and then behind the hotel is Xanadu Beach. You're lucky if you see someone there as the place is just totally empty. A dream Bahama beach with white sand and beautiful blue water.... AND you don't have to battle anyone for a spot.
The rooms are where Dundee Bay loses points for me. While it is like having your own house, we felt the floors were dirty and needed a good clean. There was also no new sheets or towels provided during our stay (that being said Latoya was great in giving us fresh towels when we asked).
Overall I wouldn't hesitate in staying here again. It is good value for money, the beach behind is amazing and the staff are great.
If you want to stay somewhere out of town and want some good value then Dundee Bay provides that.
If you want to stay near the "action" and don't want to hire a car then I wouldn't recommend this place to you.
I have stayed at this resort multiple times. Everytime I visit The Bahamas I stay here. It's always a pleasure. The workers are great people, the rooms are always clean. All the rooms I have been in have always had tiled floors. There's some great views from the higher rooms. Whenever I needed something I just let the cleaning lady or manager know and they would help me. The rooms have had TV's and pretty much every appliance you could ask for. I was very happy with my accommodations. If you want something like a home when you're away from home when in The Bahamas, check this place out.
This place was beyond words. I have no idea how anyone could write a positive review. Our condo was filthy, lacking light bulbs in most light fixtures, broken screens, feral cat screaming at our patio door, nonworking smoke alarms, overwhelming smell of pesticides and the list goes on. This is a timeshare in poor neglect. The hallways have worn carpet... Stay away.
