Jerry & Donna should list Flamingo Bay Club as an all inclusive experience. They have endless amenities including 4 amazingly friendly potcakes.
Their beach brings treasures in daily and if you throw on your snorkel gear and hop into that mesmerizing water you will see beautiful fish, colorful reefs and possibly a sea turtle or Ray.
Rent a car! There are lots of beautiful beaches to walk, roadside establishments to meet locals and many historical sites. Cat Island is a diamond in the rough. Love this place.

Room Tip: Identical villa's with shared deck. Same amazing views

We spend the weekend with Jerry and buddy. Donna happened to be away. The other reviewers already commented on how magnificent this place is; well let me tell ya, they are correct ;-)
Flamingo Bay Club is the best place to stay in Cat Island. There is no way there is another person as nice as Jerry. We will return as soon as we possibly can. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Either of the Villas are perfect. Both are facing the ocean.

My wife & I just returned from 5 nights at the Flamingo Bay Club. Staying here with Jerry & Donna is the perfect setting to enjoy all Cat Island has to offer. They have two guest Villas. We were the only guests on site during our 5 nights. Jerry brought bread & fruit every morning. Most evenings they provided excellent company & delicious appetizers & drinks. They know everyone & every point of interest on the island. Jerry was happy to provide us with bicycles, kayaks, snorkels at no expense. He happily drove us (free of charge) to a kayak drop off point and we leisurely paddled back, stopping on any deserted beach of our choosing. The accommodations are very clean & well appointed. The small pool & spa are refreshing. The beach is beautiful and void of people! The price is the BEST VALUE on the island. If Cat Island is your kind of island, then I can guarantee Flamingo Bay Club is your kind of place! Dan Bradford - Clovis California.

Great fresh water pool, magnificent beach, kayaking, bicycling, continental breakfast and unforgettable happy hour, very accomodating and friendly hosts. Also, a couple of friendly pot cake dogs, Buddy and Bear, and a cat, Bailey inhabit the premises. Could not ask for a better place to stay than with Jerry and Donna.

My wife and I have stayed at Flamingo Bay Club 8 times over the last 8 years. Several of our friends have stayed there as well. I have spent considerable time on Cat Island and as such I am very familiar with the various boutique resorts spread out over the roughly 50 miles of this island. This is by far the best oceanfront lodging for the money that exists on the island. Flamingo Bay Club is located on the dramatic south end of the island. This means that the summer trade winds blow on shore for a cooling breeze and that it is protected against the winter/spring fronts that bring strong winds from the north. It has a great freshwater pool and a beautiful white sand beach with a big pretty shallow reef to snorkel away your days. There is a barrier reef further our that breaks the ocean swell so the waters out front are very calm. The guests are usually the only ones on the beach.
The two villas are top notch, fully appointed, very clean and also have an outdoor grill. There is quality internet. The villas have a great elevated view looking out over the reef area and clear ocean horizon. There are kayaks, bicycles and snorkel gear for guests. The owner-managers Donna and Jerry are on site, are extremely accommodating and very friendly. You will not find a more friendly environment. They routinely offer the best "happy hour" on the island.
Flamingo Bay Club has flown under the radar for many years because the return guests (and there are a lot of them) want to keep this place for themselves which is why you do not see routine Tripadviser reviews. If you are looking to get away from the crowds and are seeking tropical tranquility this is your place. If though you want to stay at a resort with a bar and restaurant which means lots of people then you should book elsewhere.
