The front route is a bit steep but go round the back for an easy route. Better on a dry day as wee bit muddy if its been raining. The views from the top are great.

A cool, small structure with stunning views of Cat Island. Definitely take the walk up the more direct route with illustrations of Christ's journey to crucifixion. Given the lack of real cultural attractions for Cat Island, this might be your only chance while there!

A very short walk but it can be a little tough if you have kids. We really enjoyed the hike and seeing what the builder accomplished on this remote mountain top!

The climb is well worth it!! You will go back in time when you visit the Hermitage and
the surrounding mountain side. The view of this beautiful Island is a great backdrop
for a lovely picnic with the blue sky just above and the glories blue water all around..
Take the time to enjoy the day at the Hermitage.

An interesting site to see! A great miniature version of the temple. Nice climb and a gorgeous view of the island.
