The resort is clean and quiet. No tennis or golf or shopping or bars....just natural beauty with rays and coral and white sand. The water is every shade of blue. Paddle sports and snorkeling. Swimming and relaxing. Local food is delicious. Highly recommend this simple slice of paradise but please don’t tell all your friends!

This was my second trip to CSM on Long Island. This property is clean and comfortable and the owners are very welcoming. I have gone as a girls trip and also as a couple trip. Both vacations were amazing.

Great site, great staff, great beach. We were there during the pandemic and the staff was very careful but yet not fanatical. We are already making plans to return next year. We even got good wifi on our porch far from the main building.

Travel to the island can be a challenge, but the resort is a secluded, tranquil escape. If you are seeking multiple dining options or nightlife, this isn't the place for you. It's quiet, calm and beautiful. The staff is friendly and the service is good ... but the stars of the show are the pristine beach and calm, clear water.

The bungalow accommodations are basic but clean. The screened porches add a nice space and extra area to soak in the scenery. We enjoyed the benefit of a bungalow without immediate neighbors, so the sense of more privacy was a bonus.

A special note about the general manager, Matt. He's exceptional at customer care and will bend over backwards to enhance your experience. Our luggage somehow was left behind in Nassau (we hear this is rare), and it appeared the next flight to the island might be three (3) days later! With only the clothes on our back, we feared our trip might be ruined. But Matt started working the phones, somehow found an individual planning a trip the island, and had our luggage to us the following day. Hero!

We're plotting a return and look forward to experiencing the tranquility once again.

One of our most memorable vacations - what a special place. Cape Santa Maria is located directly on the nicest beach we have ever seen. The area looks like a postcard. The water in the bay is calm, and the sand is like clay. Long Island is a beautiful place overall, and the people are extraordinarily welcoming at the resort and throughout the island. The villas at the resort are modern and impeccably maintained. Fast internet and every amenity in all rooms, which are located on this spectacular beach. It's very laid back. The fishing is off the charts, and the resort will cook your catch for dinner. You can sail, kayak, paddle board, fish, and enjoy the perfect weather. It is very carefree. We let our children run around freely. Matt and Kathleen are the general managers, and they are incredibly nice people. Matt is an avid runner and can recommend tons of trails if you are so inclined. There is a warm and family-like vibe within their team and among the guests, which is makes the stay special. On the island we highly recommend Max's Conch Bar, Dean's Blue Hole, Rodney's Sunset Restaurant, the shrimp hole, the marinas, and generally exploring by car or bicycle. The restaurant at CSM is excellent, and there are two reasonably well stocked supermarkets on the island if you prefer to shop. Our whole family loved our stay at CSM, and we can't wait to come back.
