Was a place discovered without any intention in Aonang! I think the amazing service offered by the Italian man changed everything (that I suppose that is the owner)! He was very kind and attentive all the time. The food is not cheap if you compare with local food, but it seems an original Italian restaurant and the money spent is valued. Good pizza and calamari entree. I didn't try, but the homemade pastas seem very good also. We came back before leave Krabi.

This restaurant is located on the main street opposite Ao Nang beach. Pleasant decor, staff very friendly & helpful. They let us order our appetizers & came back for our mains as I was struggling to pick from the extensive menu. We had bruschetta to share which was nice & the house red wine was lovely. For mains my husband asked for a calzone which wasn't on menu but they said they could make, he chose what he wanted inside, when it came he said it was very tasty but had a lot of air in it, the waiter explained it's very hard to get the balance right, but he did enjoy it! I chose the tortelloni verde alla ligure which was delicious! We shared a tiramisu which was good. Thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Across the street from Ao Nang beach, one of the few Italian only restaurants in the area, good options for Pizza, Pasta and Wine

If you would like a change from pad Thai, go to Azzurra on Ao Nang beach. The prices are more expensive than their competitors, but well cooked Italian food is a bit of a rarity in Thailand. It has an extensive drinks menu, and it has five types of grappa to choose from. The appetisers like the melanzane were delicious. The pastas cooked al dente were sensational. Did not try the dolce. But reports are that they were pretty good. We had appertivi, a bottle of Trebbiano and digestivi and two courses. It came in at Aud $100.00. In Oz we would have paid Aud $200.00. Bella manga.

Good but expensive pizza if you are tired of pad thai and miss western food. I disliked the fact that the dough became hard when cold (ambient temperature).
