At night next to the Subway, there is a little bar which opens called the Violin Corner Bar. They have a 100 Baht cocktail & shooter happy hour. The two cocktails I had were both pretty awful to be honest. When I switched to wine – that wasn’t much better quality. But if you want to grab a beer and listen to the music – it was very entertaining. Two Canadians playing cover tracks – with the girl on guitar and a guy on violin. They had us all clapping and singing along. Live music starts about 7pm, so good on the way to dinner, or call in for their second set after dinner. Food is supplied by Café 8, so it is excellent (I had the spaghetti carbonara which was a great choice).
