Very nice seafood menu and the location is wonderful, right on water. While it was a bit chilly the evening we were there, so we ate in the restaurant, I understand you can eat on the beach. The prices are approximately120-240 pesos for the seafood dishes, 420 for the lobster. I had a fantastic dish that was white fish stuffed with fish and seafood. It was delicious.

The older gentleman suggested this dish. Wow. It was wonderful. Platter had plenty of food. It was cooked just right. Crispy bacon. Yum. Glad I tried it. Good service also.

We loved the prompt and professional service of Gabino, an older gentleman very knowledgeable of everything, from its foods to tours in the area. Fantastic seafoods they practically gave them away. Wine list is no good, so I drank beer. I think everything is great here (except the stuffed chocolate clams had too much cheese and was more like a thick broth instead.). I think we ordered too much for lunch for 2 anyway. But what the heck. Clean restaurant with views of water and boats too.

Second time dining here in six months, ate there 10-6-17. Located right on the beach. Real close to the boats, nice setting. Our greatest surprise and delight was the waiter---Tony! He was employed by a restaurant across the street that recently closed (too bad, was a great restaurant), and got hired here. He has such a great personality, and is funny! We would go back just to see him. He remembered the two of us as we had eaten at his former restaurant twice. And, I always order my margaritas rimmed with sugar, not salt, and he remembered that! Hope to see him again when we go back! My clams were delicious!

The La Costa presents a comfortable but unassuming appearance on the outside but upon entering opens up into a wonderfully large, breezy palapa space. After a warm and friendly greeting by the smiling family/staff, you have a choice of dining inside or moving out to their private beach under the shade of an umbrella where you enjoy a picturesque view of the bay and sailboats. The staff was very attentive and actually kept repositioning the umbrella from time to time to block the direct sunlight from our table.

The main meals feature the abundance of the Sea of Cortez but they also offer steaks and other meat selections. I ordered the ribeye dinner which when ready announced its own arrival, first with its intensive grilled aroma and then by an insanely loud sizzle as it left the kitchen. The meal arrived on an extremely hot, hand tooled metal plate set into a heavy wooden dish for your protection. The presentation was impressive - grilled to perfection, smelled fantastic, with sound effects and just a touch of adventure provided by the hot plate.

The most pleasant surprise and cap to the visit was enjoying the Real Margaritas (potent and tasty) as I lost myself in a surreal color soaked sunset. I advise you to limit yourself to 2 Margaritas as they were sneaky cabronas.
