My wife and I were looking for a place for a one night stay before leaving on a sailing trip. All the other reviews are accurate, Silvana and her husband were wonderful hosts. We would have loved to stay for longer.
Location: Easily walkable to the city center, we walked to the two squares both day and night and felt very safe. (Less then $3 usd) to get via taxi if you prefer. We heard no street noise, only a few dogs barking around 7a and we stayed on a Friday night.
Property: The B&B was very comfortable and clean, we had a leisurely two hour breakfast and hung around to use their fast internet and drank great Italian coffees. Breakfast would be worth coming here alone, the poached blue cheese and bacon eggs served with a mixture of sandwiches on homemade bread made by Silvanas husband.
Fresh fruit, toast and homemade pastries were also served.
Communication: Silvana had great email communication and was flexible with our travel plans. We were given a key to come and go as we pleased and she allowed us to keep our bags there after we checked out.
Dont hesitate to book here, much better then staying in a traditional hotel.
