My wife and I came here for lunch following a morning of shopping, on a rainy day. The place was nearly empty, so service was good and prompt. The menu had lots of variety of local seafoods Mexican style. Had no problem paying with my MC.

There are dozens of restaurants along the waterfront so we asked our guide for a recommendation.

Sitting on the verandah with our cocktails looking out over the beach and bay was exactly what we dreamed Acapulco would be like.

The food was barely average and definitely didn't match the quality of the drinks and location.

No credit card facilities so if we didn't have US dollars we might have been washing dishes this afternoon.

Find another place on the beach with better food

Live close, so go often. Can eat on the beach or in the restaurant. Good variety. Sometimes services is a little slow but worth a visit.

We think the restaurant was actually closed at 9, when we arrived.
They told us the credit card machine was broken but they would take cash.
Margaritas very good..only plus!
Our waiter didn't know how to describe the differences between several dishes, and he did speak English well.
We ordered anyway and all our food tasted like it came from a Chinese restaurant...everything had a sweet and sour sauce on it., including the cerviche.
YUK!
As it turns out, we poked our heads into kitchen on way to restrooms, and every surface had dirty dishes piled high!!
We think this place was actually closed and they pretended to be open. And, we think the dishwasher prepared our food, then they gave us our bill (which was quite large, as there were 4 of us).
So, they got the pesos and we got the sour end of that place!!

Visited twice in the last week. Wait staff speaks good English, especially Javier. The food is well above average for ACA. Make sure you ask where the decorations on the light fixtures are from. Drinks are the same price as many in town. The breeze off the bay makes for pleasant dining. The place closes at 9:00 pm.
