We stayed in Esther's Room and it was very roomy and comfortable. The king size bed, upscale furniture and linens and a huge bathroom with a shower big enough for 2 or more. The room is very bright and opens up to a huge balcony overlooking the ocean and the start of the Malacon, a long walkway stretching from the centro historico, the old town of Mazatlan where we were located all the way to the zona dorado where all the resort hotels are.
We enjoyed this part of Mazatlan much more than where the resort area is. The old town has character and charm. We walked everywhere and were always greeted in a friendly manner by the many residents we encountered on our walks. there are many restaurants and attractions just in the old part to keep you busy. One of the best places to eat is in Le Sorelle, the restaurant in the Casa Licila. Also, go to the Plaza Machado and the surounding area for other good eats and entertainment in the evenings.
Conchita, the owner of the Casa Lucila, and her staff will make you feel right at home. The size of the Hotel makes this a much more personal and pampered feel to it, you think this is your home on the ocean in Mazatlan and are catered to as if it were.More
