I ordered the lettuce buds lettuce for appetizer, the corn-based entree (vegetarian option), and had the coconut cuala dessert. Overall, the food was below average—nothing necessarily innovative or mind-blowing. Food presentation was also boring. I must note, however, the ingredients were indeed fresh.
You get a courtesy pre-meal drink (good but a bit too sweet) and a courtesy pre-appetizer. Nothing to rave about or to remark about either courtesy item.
The wine menu is expansive but the options by glass are pretty limited. I had a glass of red zorzal (Argentine) with the salad and a glass of Natal (Mexican-based Chardonnay) with the entree. I chose Porto to pair the dessert—they only had one Porto option. For aperitif, I had a Negroni (their own version as the substitute some of the ingredients to make it more local). There was not a menu of cocktails, rather the host will just let you state some of preferred options and will inform you whether they can prepare it or not.
My bill was $86 (1 cocktail, 2 glasses of wine, 1 port wine, appetizer and entree). In my view, not quite worth the price; nothing necessarily impressive. Perhaps I was expecting way more given the excellent reviews. I would not come back.
