We enjoyed a 4 night stay at One Puerto Vallarta Aeropuerto Dec 27-30. The One is new construction so the hotel is very nice and modern. It really is a short walk to the airport with an easy sidewalk to use from the baggage claim/ taxi pick up area. The One is also an a quick walk to the Marina Vallarta. For the price, the One has it all, the staff was very friendly, the rooms were very nice and clean. The rooms were smaller and didn't have much storage but did have very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. The pool area was very nice and clean but seating around the pool was limited. Would love to see the One add more lounge chairs and some bistro table and chairs to the pool area. The included breakfast was very good and offered juices, coffee, scrambled eggs, meat selections, fresh fruits, breads, toast, muffins, tortillas, and cold cereal selections. The breakfast area also had a public microwave that could be used. We have stayed at other budget hotels in the Puerto Vallarta area that are no comparison to the location, amenities, cleanness and friendliness as the One offers. A shopping mall, grocery store, McDonald's and other restaurants are a 2 minute walk away. On the street level of the One is also a Sushi bar, a burger/ bar place, a nice restaurant and other shopping. In reading some reviews, some travelers have complained that you cant find the way to the lobby. Its easy, the front of the One has an escalator, take the escalator up one level and follow the sign to lobby, take the elevator up one level and you are at the lobby. We found the security level to be very high at the One, the only way into the hotel is by using the escalator and using the elevator that goes straight to the hotel front desk, room keys were needed to use the elevator to get to room floors. The only negative thing I can say was the rooms do not have a safe, but we knew that ahead of time, by reading Tripadvisor so we brought a small paddle lock for our suite case and kept our money with us. If you are expecting a $300 a night hotel for the One's price of $72 you will be disappointed, it is a budget hotel similar to a Microtel in the US. Overall for everything the One has to offer I would give them an A and would definitely stay again.

I was so happy with my stay at this hotel. From the reservation process to the proximity to the airport. The room was ad advertised on their website. Clean and spacious. A large tv, glass showers, the staff was amazing. It is so close to the airport I could have walked. If you don't have a lot of luggage I would suggest the walk. By time you get in the cab you are getting out it is that close. The breakfast was delicious. The pool is beautiful. This was a pleasant surprise and A Perfect Stay.

Adequate and Reasonable, complimentary breakfast, and pool. This hotel is right next to the airport. Rooms are very small, but clean. The room I'm in reminds me of a school dormitory. No frills. No coffee maker, no microwave, no fridge, no dresser, no drawers, no real closet, just an efficiency shelf, and a very small table stand between the beds. There is a TV, and Internet. This is a place where you would only spend one night, maybe two at the most on your way to or from the airport. There is a shower, (no bathtub), but nowhere to put your shampoo, or razor. They have complimentary body soap in the shower, but that's it. Need room key to travel up and down the elevator. Staff VERY FRIENDLY. There is one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel. There is a shopping center within easy walking distance, and a restaurant, "Tok", downstairs at the street level. Fair price for the location - Just wish the room was better.

Room Tip: Rooms have AC

If you're looking for an inexpensive hotel to stay overnight, especially if taking a flight, this is a very good option. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the Puerto Vallarta airport. The hotel is very basic -- no decoration, lobby to sit in, extras. Rooms are adequate and very clean. The bed is comfortable and shower in bathroom is good. The people at reception are efficient and I could communicate in English. There is a pool and coffee in the reception area where they have breakfast. There are computer terminals for use as well.

We are expats living in Mexico and whenever we travel to other parts of the country, we always stay at One. We know exactly what we're getting...the rooms are clean and modern, the staff are very helpful and attentive, and the price is always reasonable.
