This hotel was perfect for a week stay visiting a tradeshow at the Expo. Basic ammenities, safe, A/C, and newly remodeled room and bathroom (except for TV furniture which looked dated and worn). Common areas also look redone. Good buffet breakfast and across the street from the Expo. Please note that this is a business no frills hotel when reading other reviews. People sometimes expect too much for a budget rate.

This is not on top of my list for service or amenities, but it is adequate for business travel and is convenient to the Expo center (across the street). The staff is attentive, and most speak a little English. as with most of my experiences in Mexico, if you try to speak a little Spanish, you will get a lot farther and will get a much better response. They have a bar and restaurant, room service, wifi, its clean and comfortable. its equivalent to a Hampton Inn or roadside Marriott you would find in the states.

Room tip: Get a higher floor for great city views on both sides of the building

Rooms are on the worn and dated side but large, clean and the beds are comfortable. An excellent value located blocks from Plaza del Sol and across the street from the Expo center. A much better fitness center than expected and breakfast was included.

The hotel itself is rather nice. Reading other posts it makes me want to remind people that it's not the Ritz-Carlton. Remember - you get what you pay for. What was unacceptable for me was the fact that the restaurant (Azulejos) had virtually no food in the breakfast-buffet line and there were no glasses to get coffee or juice. I understand that a "free" breakfast is an incentive to stay at a hotel - but the hotel should deliver on at least having 'something' for its patrons to eat. What little there was to eat, I must say, was terrible. If I wanted to eat something with no flavor I would have stayed home and had my wife cook.
