Let's start with the good things. Breakfast is included and it is tasty. They actually have a parking lot, even though per phone we were told that they have not. Maybe they use this excuse because it is too small.

The location of this hotel is excellent, just walk the street up and you'll reach the major attractions this beautiful city has to offer.

As a major downside, it is overpriced. A night has the price of a stay at the Holiday Inn, and this is no joke. Unfortunately, everything was already booked and Hotel Murillo was one option.

The issues: Noise levels are pretty high and bothersome at times. There is lack of maintenance, it has humidity spots and the bathroom is full of mold. It seems like patched, old infrastructure with kind of new furniture. This gives an awkward feeling.

To the administration: A high price needs to be backed up with quality and an excellently customer service.

The accommodations are very basic here though you have everything you need and a private bathroom. What I appreciated about this place is that the staff were very friendly and helpful. You can easily book a tour with the front desk. It would be helpful if you can speak some basic Spanish. If you are looking for a safe place to sleep in a friendly environment, you would like this place. If you are into luxury hotels or you plan to spend a lot of time in your room, you might prefer somewhere else.

Room tip: Some rooms have windows into the hallway instead of outside. Ask if you have a preference.

In first place don't respect the agreed fees in internet... it supposed to be 97USD for two nights and she charged me 121USD...
121usd was the quote they give to every other customer.
There was no more room in the city so I Sign.... she (Norma Zarate) charged all to my visa without asking if I prefer another type of payment first nor after.

The receptionist miss Norma Zarate treat customers like if we are about to do a crime.. she follows you every were.
Give us an awfull parking lot (and follow us each time we park the car)(no mattered we park correctly each time)
She doesn't let any guest of the customer to pass beyond the hotel reception, no even for a minute.

On the other hand my brother and his girlfriend had much better luck, I booked for them on a centrally located hostel, this hostel charged the agreed price and even ask us for our preferred way to settle the bill.

I stayed here for around 5 nights. The service is actually good, the people at the reception nice. It is located just few meters from La Alhóndiga.
The rooms are tiny and dark but clean.

The only thing I would change is the WIFI in the rooms and I would put a small cafeteria for breakfast.
