Stayed here 2 nights, not enough time. Wished I had stayed and extra 2 nights. Hotel was amazing and close to everything. Garden area was nice to hang out, which is next to hotel. Staff was very friendly. And the street walking tour with musicians was nearby hotel, and that was incredible. Will definitely come back to this hotel. Loved the ambience.

Very quaint hotel that is full of character, and is in a perfect location for walking tourists. Our room was right over the plaza, so it was pretty noisy that night (but we were told by friends that the town was busier than usual that night). We left the terrace doors open anyway, and enjoyed the mariachi bands and general crowd sounds for a few hours while sleeping lightly. Around 3 am the party was STILL going on out in the plaza, so we finally shut the terrace doors, and slept very soundly after that (although a very light sleeper might still be disturbed by sounds from the plaza, even with the doors shut.) Ate breakfast at the restaurant on the sidewalk the next morning and the food was very good, with good service. And the front desk was very nice and accommodating (and at least one person spoke English). Will definitely stay there again if we ever get another chance to visit Guanajuato.

Room Tip: Fantastic view from the small balcony/terrace overlooking the plaza (but noisy)

This was our second stay at Posada Sante Fe. Located on the beautiful Jardin Union and directly across from the famous Teatro Juarez makes for a perfect central location. The hotel is situated within walking distance to most points of interest in historical Guanajuato. While not five star, this classic hotel is comfortable in every way.

Staff are most attentive and courteous. That location could not be better. Although right on the plaza, the interior was quiet.

Our room was a little too small for us. I asked to have a larger room and was glad to pay an up charge. They moved us to suite and didn't increase our room rate.

We would most definitely stay there again. Really liked being RIGHT in the central, historical zona.

Posada Santa Fe is perfectly located within walking distance of all the major attractions. It is located in a plaza just steps away from Teatro Juarez. One great feature is that it has its own parking, which is rare in this area of Guanajuato.
