I know it's just a chain but the perfect chillout place on a cute little square, nice and quiet, free wifi, great food and beer. Found it by accident and came back every day for a beer and the wifi. Just a lovely place to stop and take a break. ..birds singing away and lovely staff

So surprised at how very few pavement bar/cafe/restaurants in tis very touristy area. So although we realised this was a basic chain we sat down for a bucket of beers. Cannot fault anything and the price suited the quality. Excellent service. But for a step up the culinary ladder try Los Garisoles next door.

You would imagine that there were many bars and cafes with pavement tables and service in the central Tacuba area of Mexico City. There aren't. But with their crazy road and sidewalk habits, there should be. We spent about one hour looking until we found the very mundane, but very polite and very efficient Taco Inn. Whilst we drank our beers, we were serenaded at our pavement table by one of Mexico City's army of HarmoniPan players. These musicians are all dressed in army/police uniforms and also all are accompanied by two collectors for tips from the public. I don't know yet if it's a job for the unemployed or a way of receiving charity.

As a food chain they don´t seem to be eager to make proper tacos. I definitely prefer El Califa, which is pricey but it´s worth it.

This food is simple but good and affordable. We had a taco sampler for two plus hibiscus water to drink. It was tasty but nothing more. We spent about 15 USD. We ate outside. It is well located next to the National Museum.
