We had an amazing 8 day stay at the St. Regis in Mexico City. The total staff was above and beyond expectation. This is a great business hotel but also wonderful for couples and children. The food and service are excellent. The personal butler is icing on the cake. We attended the Wednesday champagne event, with was really fun and interesting. Many thanks for the St. Regis for giving us a home in Mexico City.

Room Tip: Our room was lovely and quiet. Ask for a room on a higher floor away from traffic if available. If view is important, make sure to request.

Arriving early in the morning after a very stressful no show for our airport transfer and having to get our own way to hotel the reception were extremely good to us. We went to have a swim in the wonderful pool and have breakfast while our room was being made ready. Nothing was too much trouble. We were given a room as high up as we could so the view was great. The hotel helped us sort out the mess of having no hotel transfer which included ringing Germany to talk to tour operator. The staff were very concerned.
The hotel is wonderfully placed very close to the park as well as a walkable distance to the main square. The area around the hotel has bars and cantinas and it feels safe to walk around. We also had full view of the Sunday closing of the roads when everyone cycles and runs in the roads - great fun and one of the closed roads is just outside the hotel
I must mention the butler service which served the best tea I've had outside the uk ever!! With the time difference I wanted tea very early in the morning - it was a god send !!!
Wonderful hotel with excellent service and great facilities

Room Tip: As high as possible for the view

Fabulous hotel, right in the heart of the city.
My room was attended to by a butler, all of whom were very professional and helpful! Breakfast, coffees all delivered with a smile and very knowledgeable too.
You must take at least one breakfast in the restaurant, exterior dining as well as interior. Although a buffet style with typical western type breakfast, there was a Mexican style choice as well as omelettes to die for! The gym, indoor infinity pool on upper levels give views of the city, whilst exercising, a real treat to save yourself for dinner.
Relaxed and luxurious. Perfect

Room Tip: All rooms have a great view!

I've been staying in several St Regis hotel, and St Regis is one of my most favorite hotel.
But this St Regis in Mexico City is excel the others in terms of service.
The front desk ladies are really friendly, concierge really put a lot of effort on making dinner and tour arrangements. Even the porter and valet service men are all excellent in service.
The hotel itself is off course a St Regis standard so there is no need to complain about. In the afternoon during my stay, at the lobby they serve free popcorn and cotton candy.
Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

I was in Mexico City for a friend's 3 day birthday celebration July 13-17, 4 nights. This hotel is leaps and bounds beyond any place I've ever stayed. We booked a standard King room, but were upgraded at check in to a small suite with my special travel credit card. Our room was, well... amazing. The linens and pillows and bed were super comfy. Huge flats screen TV in our bedroom, good size TV in the living room. Robes, slippers, unlimited bottled water, even in the bathroom for brushing teeth, rain shower plus hand held shower, sauna in the shower too! Soaking size tub. Ear plugs, eye glass cleaner towel, wonderful soaps and shampoo and loofa, bath salt cache, fancy ring holder, floor to ceiling windows, turn down service nightly (very nice,) bidet hose in the toilet room, an included buffet and gourmet breakfast daily (with our hotel package including the best made to order chilaquiles I have ever had! Eggs, bacon, fruit bar, cheeses, salsas, yogurt, honey, olives, Mexican specialties and delights, you name it. I had a breakfast at the Hilton Waikoloa that was ALMOST as good, but not quite!) Daily popcorn and special candies and chocolates in the lobby every afternoon, champagne upon check-in, tasty champagne! All the special little touches are quite grand indeed. But, that is NOT the best thing about this hotel. The BEST thing is the service! We had butler service that shined our shoes, brought us tea and coffee included 24 hours a day... In fact, all the staff goes BEYOND to see to your comfort. I lost my earring and Butler Miguel brought me a selection (under $100 as requested) within 20 minutes to make my party on time! WOW. And he looks like Superman, so nice and charming! On day 2 we had a leak in our bathroom coming from the ceiling. Unacceptable at the St. Regis. So, they packed our things and moved us to a bigger grander suite. We really didn't want to be inconvenienced with a move on our busy stay, so they gave us a truly spectacular suite with view overlooking the Diana Statue, put wine and flowers in our room and an assortment of nuts and treats with a personalized card. Oh my, I'm just a regular person from a beach community in Southern CA. I've stayed a few nice places in my life, but this place is overwhelmingly wonderful. Get the package with butler and breakfast included. You will be so very happy and pleased. Amazing! We had lunch at the JG Grill. One word Avocado Pizza! OMG! We had so many wonderful delights there. We also had some delightful crafted cocktails at the King Cole Bar. St. Regis is walking distance from Zona Rosa restaurants and shops, and a short Uber ride to the Anthropology Museum etc. This hotel caters to businessmen, so it is a little bit formal. I'm sure you can probably stay in the Zoccolo area and have a really hip experience. I am thrilled that our hosts chose this hotel for all of us. It is a little safer feeling than the rest of the city at large. We saw the amazing gym overlooking the city with pool and spa, but didn't actually have time to enjoy them. So much to do in Mexico City! Until we meet again my dear St. Regis.
