This is little hotel in the most perfect location. The room are spotless, high quality linen, and very comfortable beds. The staff are very helpful and you are footsteps from the fun of Confess, bars, cafés, restaurants, leafy boulevards

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back. The only downside is the plumbing is a little noisy.

My wife and I had a two-days brief stay in Mexico City after our trip to Cuba. It was February and it was a good time to see the Monarch Butterfly in El Rosalio Sanctuary. Therefore, we had chosen Condesa Amatlan 84 that was comparatively close to the Observatorio Bus Station so that we could make an one-day trip to see the butterflies. It turned out that we had made an excellent choice.

1. The casa was just 15 minutes away from Observatorio Bus Station. There were many convenient stores and restaurants around the casa. We felt safe to walk around the streets even at night time.

2. This was a boutique hotel which had only 5 rooms. But, the rooms were spacious and well designed. It was clean and the beds were soft and comfortable.

3. The well equipped pantry on upper floor was definitely a plus. There were microwave oven, coffee maker, kettle and all other kitchen utensils. It was just super handy and convenient. They even provide drinking water (NOT just tap water) for making coffee and tea in the pantry apart from the two complimentary bottled drinking water in the room.

4. The Wifi in our room was fast and easy to connect.

5. The charges of this casa was of very good value for money.

6. The last, but not the least, was that all staff here were super friendly and helpful.
We owned our many thanks to the caretaker, Paul, who had given us valuable information and suggestions for our visit to the butterfly sanctuary and our extremely brief visit of the central of Mexico City. Paul was also kind enough to help us to arrange very reliable taxi service.

Highly recommended without hesitation!

Amatlan 84 is right in the heart of Condesa. It is surrounded by beautiful parks and tree-lined boulevards. The neighbourhood is home to many excellent restaurants and cafes. Our room was quite comfortable and we enjoyed having use of a kitchenette in a communal area where staff made fresh coffee for us every morning and we had use of a fridge, dishes, cutlery, plates and cups. Most of all we had incredible service from the manager Paul and the owner Alicia. They helped us every day with directions, suggestions and making arrangements that made us feel so welcomed. Overall a wonderful experience.

Me and my wife stayed at Casa Condesa as part of our honeymoon, we choose the location because I grew up really close to it in Colonia Roma just across Insurgentes and I know the area well.

Condesa and Roma have had a great resurgence in the 17 years since I lived there and Casa Condesa really allowed for a "live like a local" type of experience.

First of the staff was super attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, the room itself was very comfortable and more than big enough for a couple, we got the front facing room which has a small balcony and although it can get a little loud in the evenings just take some ear plugs along and you will be fine.

Room and bathroom was super clean and made up well every single day and the bed was very comfortable, we got complimentary water bottles and coffee every single day and just all around such a beautiful and comfortable property you will not be disappointed.

The neighborhood is awesome, you could go eat at different restaurants every day for a week and not repeat once, full of life and felt very safe with a great police presence.

the parks in the Condesa are a delight and it seems like there is always music playing everywhere, from a solitary guitar in the background to a soft flute leading you on one of the best culinary experiences of your life.

Me and my wife cannot wait to go back and recommend this place highly and I cannot say enough good things about the staff, what a great trip.

Room Tip: Ask for room 6 and take some ear plugs
