We ate here recently. It’s a good solid restaurant. I had the mushroom fajitas which were tasty. Very generous portion! Staff very attentive. I would recommend this restaurant

Four of us were very pleased with our meals. Two had arrachera ( marinated beef), one had Chile en Nogada and couldn't believe it could be gotten in the winter, and I enjoyed chicken fajitas. My wife felt the guacamole was the most flavorful of our four weeks in five Mexican cities. The staff was friendly and efficient. Being able to converse in Spanish a bit made things a little easier but should not impede one from going here.
This was our first time here and we would definitely return if we weren't leaving tomorrow.

This is one of the great restaurants of Mexico City. All of the entrees are well made and presented in style. Service good, and the ambiance takes you back to an earlier time. They usually have music- when we were there, they had a trio- piano, violin and guitar. Very nice. Chili enogada are to die for. Excellent cuisine.

If you can order the filet of robalo (a fish) topped with huauzontle (an herb) served on a cheese sauce. It was sublime, stunning, rich, mouth-watering, unforgettable. The decor and historical ambience make the place worth a visit, but that fish...! My friend had the beef in almond sauce, which was also wonderful.
