We have been going to Cancun for over a decade and Hacienda Sisal is one restaurant we always enjoy visiting. It's on our annual "must do" dining spots when we are in Cancun. Why? First, the food is excellent and the menu is broad enough to accommodate every taste. The service is always excellent and many nights there is traditional Mexican entertainment, that sets the tone for a festive dining experience. One waiter really stood out. He is the "tall" Alfredo. He and his assistant, Antonio, were spot-on with their service and fun to work with. If your want great Mexican food, in a wonderful environment--at fair prices, don't miss Hacienda Sisal!

During our first trip to Mexico, specifically Cancun, a family friend recommended a restaurant nearby, Hacienda Sisal, as "the best mexican food [she] ever had." She was not wrong. From the hospitality to the ambience and the incredible sunset, everything including the food was something to write home about. Sergio went above and beyond to make sure our family of 5 had a great experience. From making us laugh to recommending spice levels, he was a joy to be waited on by. Beyond that, the food was TO DIE FOR. Relleno Negro was melt in your mouth with out of this world flavor, the Flautas were crispy and spicy, and the Pollo Tampico was ordered twice during our week there. And the fajitas? Forget it. When showing pictures of our trip our other family members exclaimed "I WANT THOSE FAJITAS!" They were awesome. We went back a second time and experienced the Mariachi band which was absolutely beautiful. We loved it here! Highly recommended for families, big parties, folks who love Mexican food and aren't afraid to try spicy things, and folks who don't, who want to stick with the old favorite, fajitas. We had a blast. All of the thanks goes to Sergio though, our waiter. He truly made the experience unforgetable. When we went back the second time, we didn't have Sergio and the experience was good, but not great. Still would come again for those Mushroom Sopes. Thank you, Sergio and Hacienda Sisal!

Eduardo & Pedro made our dinner extra special! The vegetarian fajitas, guacamole at the table, wonderful margaritas and the flaming coffee would highly recommend. Love this place and have been coming for fifteen years.

I’m a very sensitive celiac and these guys have it figured out! We had eaten here years ago, remembered we liked it and fortunately it did not disappoint. Mango margaritas were tasty, excellent carnitas and fajitas, and the guacamole is amazing.
Their chips aren’t gluten free, but they’ll offer a substitute that’s decent. (I discretely took in a small bag of my own chips). Eduardo and Angel were awesome. Very attentive and knowledgeable about my allergy. Upbeat music and a great atmosphere. Lastly, the flan is delicious!

Best meal of the trip amazing live music garbriela-Blanca was amazing server. 10/10 would recommend!
