I have been on television and radio in Southern California reviewing food, restaurants, and travel. I dined at Kaajal Restaurante for brunch and dinner during my stay at Renaissance Resort. I found the flavors and presentations in all the Kaajal dishes were exceptional. For dinner, I ordered the kale salad (ask for extra dressing). The salad consisted of different texture, and the lime dressing was tangy and appetizing. The lime chicken soup was light and flavorful. The octopus taco was crispy, meaty, flavorful and yet tender. The fish of the day, Sea Bass, was prepared to perfection. I also experienced their Saturday brunch. The brunch offered a plethora of traditional breakfast dishes and a variety of local dishes. The brunch also offered a hot, out of the over, freshly baked croissant, that rivals/exceeds the standards of any bakery in France. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting and/or living in Cancun.
