We arrived at the Casa Magna March 20th for our 3rd consecutive yearly visit and were greeted at the curb with the familiar face of Leonardo whose smile immediately says to us “welcome home”.
The check in was made seamless as I exchanged pleasantries with Germain and discovered he was a Giants football fan. His face lit up when I asked him about our favorite chef, Armando.
Chefs Armando and Santiago have taken a personal interest in developing a relationship with our son, Jack who has Down Syndrome.
These chefs have made sure Jack’s dietary restrictions are attended to with a personal touch and attention to detail. In addition to the personalized attention to Jack, Armando, Santiago, and the entire breakfast buffet crew make each morning’s breakfast a taste and vision of heaven, one of the largest and tastiest to be sampled worldwide!
The service and smiles do not stop at the breakfast. When you head to the pool and beach, you are met by the familiar smiling faces of Itzel and Govanni amongst others who obviously love their jobs and each other.some have worked at this hotel for 25-28 years.
I am sorry that I am not able to remember the names of every employee who makes our stay such a joy.
Please do yourself and family a huge favor. On your next trip to Cancun, book your rooms at the Casa Magna and treat yourself to the service and scenery you deserve!

My husband & I were sitting on the beach, Giissel asked if we need anything?
We've ordered lunch. Sjhe was the most professional and accommodating person in her line of work. Giissel understands kindness. She has also made some excellent suggestions for dinner. Giissel is a credit to her craft. Thank you Giissel!

Room Tip: Choose rooms with the beach front water views-AMAZING!

Highly recommend staying at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and they definitely made our stay in Cancun very enjoyable. The amenities were great, and they had an amazing beach front! HIGHLY recommend.

This Cancun hotel was perfect for our weekend getaway! The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. The room rates were very affordable, so each of the six of us enjoyed our own space. Most rooms gave at least a partial view of the ocean. The included breakfast buffet was excellent, with all food options. Our favorite restaurant hostess was Erika and favorite waiter was Manuel; both gave outstanding service with a smile everyday. The beach views were glorious, and I enjoyed fabulous sunrises each morning. We enjoyed our massages, and the access to the neighboring JW Marriott was also a well-used amenity, especially the restaurants. We decided to make our girl's trip annual, so we may very well be back here next year. Thank you for the great stay!

we (2 adults, 1 child) stayed at the Marriott Cancun Resort (aka Casamagna) for 6 days in March 2017. we missed the march break madness so the resort was not overcrowded - easy to get pool chairs and into restaurants without reservations.
Check in was smooth - we were offered a reasonably priced upgrade which was covered by our $50/night usd hotel credit.
the room was on the top floor facing the ocean to the side - but excellent views - with a balcony and away from any noise. the room was great - 2 double beds for the 3 of us.
amenities were all excellent, service was exceptional - from the front desk to the maid service to the restaurant staff to the pool staff - top notch !!!
we stayed on property for 4 dinners - steak house, thai, japanese. Our favourite (even at home) was the japanese so we went there twice. all of them had good food and the service was excellent !!
we used the fitness facilities a couple of times, though small and not much room for floor excercises, was well equipped. And surprisingly the pool was not frigid, but rather very refreshing on a hot day.
We did drink bottled water (even though the tap water seemed clean) - which was complimentary in the rooms in any case.
the resort is on the Hotel Strip so easy to get to the shuttle bus stops (right in front of property) for buses that run up and down the strip. Recommend getting small change at the front desk for ease of paying for bus tickets.

we really enjoyed our stay with Marriott Cancun and would definitely stay again if we return to Cancun !!!
