Can't go wrong when the owner and executive chef are present and supervising everything from the waiter to the kitchen and makes pristine consistency for excellent menu items her pride.

We found this place by accident, walking along the eastern coast walkway. The place is small and charming: you feel like you are in someone's house. We ordered a steak dish and a shrimp dish. The steak and shrimp were good but the real standout was all the sides: the rice, plantains, manioc, jicama, and more. The kitchen was open and we saw the chefs preparing it all by hand, by order - down to fresh potato chips. It is right on the ocean, away from the downtown section. Highly recommended!

A true gem of a restaurant. We had the Havana style fish and it was possibly our best meal in ten nights visiting Isla. Two people could share this dish easily as it comes with rice, plantains, fried bananas and a host of other sides. The drinks are MASSIVE and very tasty. A wonderful walk along the Caribbean to the outskirts of the main town and you are there. Don't miss it!
