It’s not a first time I note it - you can be the only guests of the restaurant but if there is one Mexican after you, You will be the last one. Here is normal to give priority for the local Mexican people. Lamb was good but a little bit dry and there isn’t any sauce not such spicy or tasty to make it softer.

Super place to eat. Nice people good service. Reasonable prices, good wine.
The local beer was very fizzy though!

Not the first time but satisfied everytime. Very tasty and enjoyable meal. Plenty of choices for all tastes. A different presentation but for food lovers a very good experience although this time the service was not up to the standards I am accustomed to but none the less.

Went there recently for dinner. Ordered the Ceviche Tropical which was quite delicious with fresh Mahi Mahi cubes, a nice dose of spice and mango cubes. The quantity was good enough for 2-3 people. Had the fried prawns on a bed of red cabbage which tasted great as well. Quantity was alright for 2 people. The restaurant is on the first floor so offers a great view of the street and the ambiance is rustic and very inline with the nautical theme of the place. Overall had a pleasant experience with attentive and knowledgeable staff until I saw the bill. Apparently we had not only been charged a VAT which btw is already included in the price but also a service fee of 15% which did not seem fair for a party of two. Such a charge is only charged for a bigger groups and I would have happily paid a good tip myself but did not appreciate my hand being forced which is something I have rarely experienced in Playa. Overall verdict -Not recommended!
