Great location with friendly, helpful staff. Pool is shallow but poolside lounging can be had. Had an issue with my room and was moved to a better room quickly and without fuss. Staff also helped make a restaurant reservation. Location is amazing, v close to 5th and to Walmart for supplies. Good shower and toiletries. Lots of English language TV. I enjoyed my stay.

Hotel is small and cute! It is in a perfect location - close to Quinta Avenida, the beach and Walmart!
There is a small pool at the hotel as well. Breakfast is included in the price, but it is served in the nearby restaurant called Como Como. We actually enjoyed that we had to walk to breakfast!
Wifi at the hotel works best by the pool area.
This hotel had everything we needed. I will recommend it to friends and will stay here next time when in Playa del Carmen!

Cache has a great location that is far enough from 5th to avoid the noise, but close enough to walk there as well as the beach. It's walking distance to Walmart for supplies and comes with a free breakfast half a block away at a nice restaurant. You also get beach towels and a free chair at Zenzi and Kool (on the beach). It's adults only and has a pool. What more can you ask for? The wifi is a bit off and on in the rooms but they suggest common areas for best signal.

Disappointing hotel where you have to pay all in advance and do not get a refund for a late arrival or earlier departure ( emergency)
The staff is very nice and welcoming. There is no bell boy, at least not everyday. There are only outdoor stairs to the first floor which is the terrace. From there, there is an elevator for the second & 3rd floor.

The rooms are large enough but definitely missing furniture. No table, no chairs, only one bedside table for 2 ( 2 beds room). We had all our stuff on the floor and nowhere to hang our towels or bathing suits.
Beds are ok but the pillows are horrible, small and flat. We were lucky to have our own. The large windows must always have the curtains down at all times because they face the terrace but mostly because they face the passage to the elevator. The dressing space is large and has a safe. The hanging space is ridiculously small can not take more then a jacket or 2.
The hotel supplies a coffee maker but no coffee. They also mention free WiFi in the room but there is none. The only place you can access the WiFi is on the terrace, when it is working properly.
The terrace and pool area could have been nice if it was not the horrible ceramic color of the pool that does not look inviting at all, and the lack of outdoor furniture. There are exactly 8 pool beds and 4 chairs on the huge terrace. Nothing else! Being at the beach, you may not need them at all, but the WiFi situation makes it all the opposite. The terrace was always busy at night.
The included breakfast is not at the hotel for they do not have a kitchen. You have to walk 2 blocks away to a restaurant called Como Como. There is a special menu for hotel guests and an other one for regular guests. The 3 options are average including coffee, fruit water and choice of eggs, fruits & granola or a croissant. All for small appetite. The service at this restaurant.
The best aspect of this hotel is its location. 2 blocks ( 3 minutes) walk to 5th avenue, same distance to Walmart and most of all, if you travel with ADO buses, it is one block away ( with heavy luggage it feels like 5 minutes walk).
The hotel is quiet enough during the week, but noisy on the week-ends.
Over all, this hotel does not have the boutique feel at all. It is lacking all the charm and conform that make a hotel 'boutique'.
The front desk staff is very nice.

Room Tip: AVOID room 105, it is facing the elevator, noisy and not private. Try to get 2nd floor and balcony ( 3 or 4 rooms only)

We stayed here for 5 nights. It's not on the main street but is a couple of streets back which means there was no noise during the night.
Beds were comfortable and shower was excellent and the staff were always helpful.
