We stayed here two nights in October 2016. In short, it was amazing particularly because the staff treats you like family.
Staff: the staff were the kindest and friendliest I have ever experienced. We had dinner there one night and JJ, Caesar, and Antonio talked to us an hour after they were supposed to close joking with us, telling us where to go, etc. The owner, Richard, and Coco were around during the day and likewise friendly, helpful and welcoming.
They make the entire stay feel like you're staying w local friends instead of at a hotel which makes the stay so much more magical.
Rooms: clean, bright, a/c unit, warm showers, free bikes w locks, breakfast in the morning was a plate full of papaya, cantaloupe, dragonfruit, bananas and toast w their homemade papaya cinnamon jam. Amazing!!!!
Food: we also ate dinner here one night. We ordered the veggie tower - a delicious heap of beets, goat cheese, lettuce, other veggies!!! SO good! The tacos were also fresh and served w avocado and their homemade habanero sauce. They also bake their own bread and desserts. Everything was delicious!
Location: on the road to the beach, but near town. A great middle point to explore. We bikes 10 minutes to the ruins and then back along the north beach road one day and walked 15 min to town another. Biking to the south beach was too far so we took a taxi for 130 pesos ($~6) one night for salsa at la zebra.
Stay here!!!!! You won't regret it!!
