Nothing can prepare you for the utter beauty and luxury Bramasole offers. We were so pleasantly surprised by the hospitality, attention to detail in every aspect and all that this guest house can offer to its guests. You get so much more than just a beautifully decorated room, you get a home with all its comforts, a lake house to spend lazy afternoons and evenings in and a lush forest that can be explored. We simply cannot fault anything. We will most certainly be back!

What a beautiful weekend away!

We arrived at the guest house late afternoon. Tristan (floor Manager I think) was expecting us and welcomed us. He kindly helped with our bags and it was an easy check in.

He explained to us the history of the guest house and the layout. He kindly helped us order dinner from the nearby restaurant and the bill was added to our invoice (Convenient).

We had booked the Egypt room. It was beautifully laid out and the interior design correlated with the Egyptian theme. The next morning we woke up to a beautiful view of the forest from our private balcony.

We had a nicely prepared breafast buffet in the dinning area overlooking the lake. Tristan was there to find out if we are comfortable and also to suggest activities nearby.

After breakfast we lounged in the lake house which has a beautiful architecture.

Overall Bramasole is a little piece of paradise! It's tranquil and the Staff gives you personalized service. Tristan was wonderful and very helpful.

We will definately be coming back there, hopefully to host our Wedding guest next year May!

Although we did not get to meet the owners we would like to thank them for sharing their home with us!!

Charming, off beat, modern, different, awesome, romantic and the most special place. Who wants to ever stay in an hotel, when you can stay in a place like Bramasole. Melanie is welcoming and the staff so friendly. Who wants to leave such a magical place when you can eat in your own little suite or in the most romantic cabin on the dam? We opted to have our meal delivered by a local restaurant and sat in the cabin on the dam as the sun went down and ate a superb dinner.
Breakfast is offered in your suite or in the dining room, or in the cabin or in the magnificent garden. How special to sit on your own private patio, looking open the dam on one side and the forest on the other and have breakfast brought to you.
Wonderful walking around the dam, and if very lucky, have Heidi the Wiessler bound along with you.
Truly special and we will definitely be back when the many many azalea bushes are in flower in September. That must be a sight to behold.

With attention to detail and a warm homeliness this is an excellent getaway spot. The rooms are very comfortable and serviced beyond expectation (especially the daily supply of home-style rusks!) Breakfast is a feast.

The location and surrounds are really beautiful. This is a rare gem.

Room Tip: Be aware that the double rooms have open bathrooms, making sharing a little tricky.

Arriving late after a busy work day, one feels the stresses of the day dissolve as you drive over the dam to this beautiful spot. It oozes relaxation, and our room overlooking the dam was beautiful, big and well-equipped with everything you'd need for self-catering.

We'd asked for dinner (and it was included on our invoice) but when we arrived were told they don't do dinner, but that we could order a take-away to be delivered (which turned out to be delicious!) Later, though (unfortunately after we'd already ordered), they realised that actually dinner had been prepared for us, so it was just a muddle-up, and they removed it from our invoice.

Great, peaceful night's sleep in a lovely big bed with crisp linen, and a hearty breakfast.

One suggestion: look at your guest info folder and take out the snarky comments that make one feel a little like you'd prefer not to have any guests at all!

Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay, thank you.

Room Tip: Venice room has lovely view over the dam one way, and the forest the other way.

Shiny Briony

Many thanks for your very positive Comments and your Positive Criticism.

I sincerely apologise for the Mix up on the Dinner, and assure you missed out, as Katy's food is outstanding. I hope to make it up to you, with Dinner and a bottle of good wine on me next time.
We will look into the Comments in our Guest Info Folder.

Kind regards
