We had two lovely nights here. They really could teach the average self catering owner a few tricks. The cottages are really nicely furnished and very well equipped and clean. They provide tea, coffee, milk, etc and also good toiletries (including bubble bath for the excellent outdoor bath). The kitchen has everything you need.
We tried a number of the farm’s walking trails, which were very pretty. We also hired a birding guide to take us into the forest, which was very worthwhile, as forest birding is challenging!
The road is fine for a sedan unless you’re particularly nervous, as it is windy and steep in places. But much easier than other local roads to breweries, forests, etc. There’s lots to do in the area and numerous delis, restaurants, etc. so you can definitely stay a few days.
