We sat in a little area on the roof top all by ourselves. Was quite romantic and had wonderful service until a large rehearsal dinner crowd came, but that was OK we were almost done.
The food is good not excellent although my tamarind margarita was quite yummy, so much i had to have another.
I do suggest this place. Above average food and a wonderful view. I would go again.

Although the food was just okay the ambiance was wonderful. We sat on the rooftop overlooking the back of the church and walked around for great city views.
The service was good as well.
They also have a long bar on the side that looked fun; if I returned, it'd be for drinks.
Lunch for two was about $500.

We went to La Posadita for my sons 13th birthday. My Uncle has retired to the town and so has tried several places and suggested this. His instincts were right, both our boys as well as us loved the meal. They had steak and it all disappeared. My wife and uncle had different salmon meals and both enjoyed it. I had chicken with spinach and goats cheese which was cooked perfectly. Only criticism which is not uncommon in Mexico, no real choice of veg.
The restaurant brought in the cake we'd provided and sang with us for our sons birthday. All in all a great experience in a great location in San Miguel De Allende. Not cheap but value for money.

The frozen tamarind margarita was the best margarita I've ever had; it seemed like a foot tall! We went three of four nights we were in San Miguel, including our first and last nights. Regarding service: what more can I say than my friend dropped a fork, and our waiter Martin literally came running with a replacement! The food is very good and reliably so. The ambiance is upscale with a good mix of people, and the rooftop view is pleasant. Our overall experience was wonderful every time. It will be a standby for us to return to again and again.

I was here twice for lunch with two different groups of people. Each time the food was really good. It is located on a rooftop a block from the Jardin. The menu offers a. Umber of golf Mexican dishes. I highly recommend the pork shank. I also had the shrimp in orange sauce. The frozen margarita is quite good here. They also offer a number of local beers.
