I have been to Cabo five times over the last 10 years, staying at a different resort each time, and the Dreams resort had, by far and away the best service I have experienced. Food was very good at all the restaurants, never had a bad meal. We really enjoyed the Seaside Grill, it is the main restaurant, by the main pool, open for lunch and dinner, and serves the beach bar if you want a midday taco delivered to your chair on the beach. Omar, is the manager, and this guy is awesome! Attention to detail, provided a bottle of champagne for my wife and I one evening, and was the first to NOT take credit for the service, said his team, servers, cooks, and hosts deserve all the credit which I thought was amazing. We also scheduled a private dinner on the beach, and that was well worth the price! You can either have a selected menu or give the servers you preferences and they will create a menu. The dinner includes several bottles of wine and champagne, two waiters and great service. They will take all the pictures you want. My wife and I stayed for our anniversary, upon arrive we were given champagne and were escorted to our room. Our door was decorated with a Happy Anniversary greeting which was a nice gesture. Large bed room, well stocked mini fridge (beer and soda) which is restocked daily. Beach is nice, is roped off so you are not bothered by people trying to sell you stuff, beach bar is close, and has excellent service, I never had to get up to get a beer. Servers ask you name and remember your order from day to day. Resort is about 20 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes to the Marina. You have several options on getting around for excursions; you take the resort shuttle (about $30 to the Marina) and taxi/shuttle (about $35). We did a snorkel tour and a sunset cruise during our stay, so we had to go to the marina twice which adds ups on transportation, but we planned for that so it wasn't a big deal. Overall, great experience

We like the fact they have an adults only pool. Every room has ocean view, we like to stay in the main tower because it is near the action. This is our 4th time, so we forgo the sales pitch and just get to room and start to vacation. Everyone who works there is beyond friendly and ready to please. I have to mention Hugo at the Bordeaux restaurant he was adorable, Hugo made our dining experience so special. The food at Bordeaux is great we dined there 3 times in one week. Hope to see you all next year and the next.

We stayed at the Dreams Los Cabos with another couple. Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. View was amazing towards ocean. Enjoyed all the restaurants and service was friendly. Beach was good but of course did not chance getting into ocean as the waves were insane. Went fishing with Pochos Fishing and caught three marlin.

Our second time staying at Dreams and we can't wait to come back again next year! Many thanks to Oscar from the UVC for his daily attention. He made our stay stress free. From the deep sea fishing, golfing, whale watching and dancing at the club every day was a new adventure. Best part was the new friends. Adios...until next year!

Room Tip: Upper floors allow you to watch the whales from your balcony.

We stayed at Dreams for our honeymoon. Upon arrival, we upgraded to the preferred club...room 1104. Highly recommend this upgrade. The room is fantastic (facing the ocean in a quiet spot). Yeudiel at the front desk was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Remembered my name everytime he saw us all week.
We were forced to spend way too much time with the resort rep hearing about the discounts and options for the vacation club (this was even before the 90 minute breakfast you would need to have with the rep in order to sign up with for the club). My recommendation for the hotel is to let people check in before starting the sales pitch. When you first arrive, you just want to get to your room and unpack and change. Spending an hour with a rep before you get to the room is not a great start to the vacation.
The resort is very clean and well run. The main pool is where we spent the majority of our days. Antonio (bartender at the pool bar) is a machine! I have never seen a bartender so fast but still so outgoing and friendly. He took great care of us all week. Also want to give a shout-out to Rolfy (entertainment team). He was a wealth of knowledge about the area and always made our days fun. Dreams is lucky to have him.
The food was really average at this resort. I was expecting more for a 5 star. Nothing was terrible but nothing was really outstanding either. One big complaint...we went to Portofino twice. Both times they didn't have a table large enough to accomodate our group (9). We were told that the only place they could accomodate us was in the wine room ($200 US minimum spend on wine). Once we were seated though, we tried to pick our wines. Had to go through 6 choices before we found one on the menu that they had in stock. If you are going to force people to pay a minimum, they should at least have a selection of wines that allows for some choice.
All in all it was a great week and we enjoyed ourselves. Not sure I would be back though just based on the food. There are better options out there.

Room Tip: Room 1104. Quiet and great ground floor location.
