For an all-inclusive, no-worries type of stay this place was great. I had always heard that food and drink were not good at all-inclusives but at least at the Hyatt Zivas that was not the case--everything was pretty good if not great! The service was great and the staff was very friendly.
I just wish that the beach there were more swimmable (black flags the whole time).

This is an excellent all inclusive experience. The beach service is excellent. Hugo was the supervisor the beach and was very Helpful. The beach was awesome. The food was very good. It wasn’t the usual all inclusive experience where all the food seems the same. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

We just returned home from 5 days at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabo and we are already planning our return trip. My Husband and I traveled with our 6 year old and we definitely picked the right resort. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are clean and luxurious, the pools are huge and beautiful, the restaurants were delicious and staffed with the most incredibly friendly people, the nightly shows were such an unexpected bonus. There are so many activities for the kids. My daughter did kids camp one day and she loved it. The kids pool area is such a great little oasis for families with young children who want to be in their own area. We didn't get to enjoy the adults only pool but we could see from our room and it was beautiful and quiet for those who also wanted to escape the more party fun main pools. We stayed in a Club Ocean View King Suite and it was perfect. The picture attached was the view from our balcony. The sandy beach is BEAUTIFUL, the beach is not swim able but that did not affect our trip in any way. We would go out at sunset and walk ankle deep up the beach and loved that. I have already recommended this resort to all of our friends and family and hope to be back this Winter. I wish I could give it 10 stars!

They give you an unusable room and then force you to pay an additional $420 to get the same room but fully operational. Wow, what a Mexican scam. The property is nice and food is great but being scammed makes the whole experience sour.

Room Tip: Only go here if you can prepay for the top room, otherwise they will stick it to you.

Thank you Marcos for a lovely evening! We weren’t sure whether to try bon Vivant the French restaurant and we’re glad we did. It was so delicious we had 2 soups and 2 salads each in addition to our entrees.

Marcos was our favorite server of the trip and he really made our last night so special. He deserves special recognition for letting us leave the resort on such a high note. He even brought us a Mexican liquor with our dessert which was delicious.

Management: you should definitely have your other servers learn from him. Ps we aren’t the easiest to please diners : )
