Didn't actually stay here but went here a couple of times while on holiday in Hope Cove. Once for a drink and a second time for lunch.
Good menu with a nice selection for vegetarians & vegans.
We ordered grilled sole and a hallumi burger.
The food was very tasty and well presented.
Staff were very friendly and courteous.

We'd booked a three night stay at the Hope and Anchor for my birthday weekend, but I had to have surgery a few days before our visit. It was the perfect place to recover - an amazing setting, great food and lovely staff, especially Chloe. Our labrador was made very welcome and pootled round saying Hello to everyone.
The pub is very popular and several people said how lucky we were to be staying there. Our room was small but very clean and comfy. Just what the doctor ordered!

Lovely pub with large rooms with sea views (see photo of the view from our room). Everyone is friendly and house keeping could not be faltered. You can have your breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea and your relaxing day has started. The pub had entertainment on in the evening twice in the week we were there. Mark, Dave and Jasper work tirelessly to serve you. Breakfast is included and is very good with buffet and full English. Meals are pub grub but to a very good standard. Like Hope Cove itself the pub is a relaxed place to stay. You will enjoy your week at this St Austell brewery pub/hotel....waking up to the sound of those waves just metres away made the holiday......will be going back
