We happened upon this amazing little café during a natural stopping point on our journey from Gisborne to Napier. It’s understated bohemian in style, and staff were all very friendly - service was good even though it was quite busy. There were a nice mix of people adding to the overall avant-garde ambiance.
There is a lot of choice for veggies and GF, and food is made freshly every day. I had an open-top veg pie whose pastry was perfectly short, and a ginseng tea. I thoroughly enjoyed them both!
I would love to return one day to experience one of the advertised bands or artists!
