I stayed at Lamorna Lookout which had the same view you see in the picture. The property is above the beach café and could not be better placed to enjoy this peaceful, sandy little cove, part of a small village of very friendly people. Beware, the road down to it is not for the faint-hearted but the reward is well worth the narrow, twisty lane.

Lamorna Cove is not a very known and therefore a little bit hard to find. The street that leads there is very narrow and the cove itself is not that spectacular like Kynance. As a result it's also not crowded. So if you are looking for a quiet cove, then Lamorna Cove is an definitely option.

Recently home from a wonderful 10 day break staying in Lamorna Cove. Peace and quiet, the sound of the sea and the river rushing down the valley. Beautiful sunrises and, at night, a sky full of stars. A little piece of heaven on earth in the far west of Cornwall.

The approach to Lamorna Cove by road is most enjoyable, passing down a beautifully wooded valley to the sea. The Cove itself is very picturesque but the amenities have seen better days. Beware of the car park attendant here as parking is very limited and they'll try and fine you if you dare to stop for two minutes to use the lavs. Well worth a visit but the journey is better than the arrival.
