This bay is just one of the most stunning I've come across. On a sunny day the colour and translucency of the sea is amazing. The houses nestled on the hill under the massive boulders from the old quarry make me hold my breath and cringe. I couldn't live in one of those for anything. The recently broken off harbour wall is testament to the ferocious storms that battle this little harbour from time to time, but in summer there is no place more idyllic. The local café with it's tables overlooking the view and it's delicious fresh crab sandwiches and cream teas is one to rival the finest anywhere. The coastal path can be accessed from here to more exciting places but the access to it is just much to steep for me now. I leave it to the younger and more agile.
