The relation between price and quality is not existent, I thought this would be a fair price place since is a small park by the highway, but instead, this place was very expensive and very crowdy (for just a small amount more you can attend to Xcaret or Xel-Ha and experience a real all inclusive Riviera Maya day, with the same crowds...)

The advertising is misleading because you get to see a beautiful cenote picture when you are driving by the road so they caught your attention, they tell you the entrance is $400+ pp but once you park your car someone from the staff starts to tell you all of their pricing packages... and that the $400 tour is just their "basic" one that only includes 3 cenotes without any attention nor explanation from the staff even less .. any snacks.

You can't take the life-saving-jacket off at any time.

They charge like the high-quality parks but this by no means represent a true cenote experience, please DON'T GO.

Dear visitor, I'd like to thank you for your comments. We truly appreciate them, because they always give us the chance to improve and be better. One thing I am sure is that all properties along the Riviera Maya are different and have their own magic, offering different options based on customers' likes and budgets and choosed by own will.

Ecopark Kantun Chi is well known and recognized for those clients who have visited, seen and lived an unic environment, 100% natural with 5 different and incredible cenotes and an amazing underground river; a major reason why have been having our doors open for 17 years in a row (and counting). We have even earned another TripAdvisor 2018 excellence award.

As you well mentioned, we offer different tours and based on customers budgets and schedules, they choose what best suit them; a similar policy applies in other properties even the ones you have mentioned above.

Once again I'd like to thank you for sharing your experience, Ecopark Kantun Chi is definetly not an option for everyone, specialy for those who don't really enjoy nature, we regret this has been your case.

I had never been to a cave or cenote before and this satisfied both! Sandra was our tour guide for the half-day experience and I can't think of a more fun and educational adventure than this. The tour starts by entering an underground cave and you learn a lot about the Mayan beliefs and culture along with geography that formed the cave and cenotes. You progress through the park to explore several cenotes, all different experiences and looks/feel. They were absolutely beautiful and the staff on hand takes great photos - so no need to bring a camera!

I visited these cenotes in March. The personel was friendly and helpful and the location is great. The place is pristine, well maintained and preserved, the signs are clear. There's a lot to walk in the jungle but if you're lazy or can't walk, there's a little train pulled by a horse.
There are different prices ranges, depending either on your budget or on the time you have or your ability to walk/swim/dive/raw.

We booked the underground river and 5 cenotes tour with lunch and we are glad we did! This eco park is amazing and beautiful. It is well maintained and the facilities are great. The tour guide is brilliant and very knowledgeable. You can’t wear sunscreen or insect repellent so take a top if it’s very sunny and they provide a natural bio degradable repellent at the reception that won’t contaminate the water. Lunch was delicious and the restaurant itself is peaceful. When we went it wasn’t very busy so the whole site was quiet and a nice escape!

We stumbled upon Kantun-Chi after the place next door didn’t take credit cards and we didn’t have cash on us at the time. Our hotel across the street tried to discourage us from visiting, but I’m so glad we didn’t listen. Kantun-Chi is simply amazing. We took the guided tour of the underground river. It was absolutely breath taking! Our guide Sandy was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable. The cenotes are gorgeous. We had the pleasure of coming back the next day at no charge (we came later in the day and was unable to get all the cenotes in the first day). Seeing the morning sun hit cenote #3 was truly a testament to how beautiful nature is when different elements work together (the early morning sun piercing the water). Plus it was nice that it was not crowded. There’s a certain tranquility to that which is much appreciated. I highly recommend you check out Kantun-Chi!
