We've eaten here a few times on visits to France and the food is consistently excellent. The service is also very good. A lovely selection of amuse-bouches provided by the chef was followed by entrees including mushroom and prawn pillows in a prawn bisque (yum!), asparagus and ham, and ox tail terrine. Our mains included goose and steak and were accompanied by risotto and veges. The desserts were also lovely with apple tarts and pavlovas the highlights. We also had some extra petits-fours including prunes d'Agen soaked in eau de vie. The food comes out well timed with no long waits between courses. Parking is also easy to find across the roundabout from the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the region!!!

We arrived early , but were allowed to sit ourselves down in the restaurant to wait. The staff were attentive and pleasant throughout.

The menu choices were varied and relatively affordable , and an enjoyable meal was had by all .

We booked the restaurant purely on the basis of previous positive reviews when planning a short break in the area.

The welcome and service were both friendly & professional and the food was excellent in presentation, taste and value for money.

We asked for a local wine recommendation and it was refreshing to see that a mid-price wine was suggested which was very good and complemented the food we had ordered.

Can highly recommend.

The hostesses were very friendly, and offered to speak in English is we preferred, but when we declined, was very chatty in French and explained the menus in detail, and recommended perfectly a wine to accompany our choices ( without just choosing a really expensive one)
The food itself was generously portioned and excellent value for money. We opted for the four course menu, which included cheese, again generous offering of a selection of around 15 cheeses.
The faux filet in a veal and pineapple sauce was superb quality meat, perfectly cooked and the simple vegetable accompaniment was tasty and sufficient.
A great at posters in this friendly restaurant.
All in all an excellent find and one to recommend, but book in advance, they get very busy!

The restaurant exudes a pleasant, relaxed, atmosphere. Food is excellent, although the sauces are a little on the “rich” side. The dining area is not very large but even when full, it does not give a crowded impression. Service is friendly and efficient, without overdoing it. The recommended regional wines are reasonable priced
