We had a short break at Chesil Beach Lodge in September. It was the first time we'd taken our young dog away and it was all made so much easier by the dog friendly amenities. The apartment was very comfortable, well-furnished and equipped with everything we needed to have a lovely break. Great location for getting out and about with lots of places to go with our dog. Great pubs in the village and of course the cafe on the beach - all of which are dog friendly. We will definitely return.

We stayed for two nights in the Jurassic Apartment and well what can we say, fabulous area, fabulous accommodation, outstanding views from this apartment, dog friendly although we don't own a dog at the present time it was lovely to see other people enjoying the accommodation with their dogs. Would not hesitate in returning and recommending this to others. Thank you Linda and Cyril xxx

Room Tip: Jurassic for views and privacy, although at certain times of the day you do get traffic noise if you open the windows.

Set right above the beautiful National Trust beach of Burton Bradstock, this the the loveliest B&B. Nice big room, huge comfortable bed and patio doors you can throw open to let the sea breeze in. The best part is its dog friendly. We will definitely be back for another visit next year.

Stayed in Fossil self catering apartment with my dog and 93 year-old mum. Absolutely perfect location with stunning views and a field full of rabbits adjoining which my dog loved! The apartment is really comfortable and well equipped and Linda and Cyril (although we didn't see much of each other) are lovely hosts - very kind and accommodating. I can't think of a more perfect place to stay. Thank you - and we'll be back!

Stayed 3 nights in the Jurassic apartment. Very comfortable and quiet despite several dogs staying there. Spacious apartment, everything we needed. Our labradoodle was very settled. Lovely walks and views. Excellent food in the Hive cafe, the Three Horseshoes and the Anchor (all dog friendly/welcoming).
