We booked a private room with ensuite for a party of three and were very happy with this hostel. They have a great restaurant with lots of choice for a budget. Our room was clean with a spacious bathroom & lockers in room. We used the kitchen for breakfast & keeping our supplies in the fridge & freezer.
It's only a short walk to the Village for supplies or shuttle to the lake.
Highly recommended.

After being in Jasper at the HI my expectations were low, and this hostel blew my mind!
I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm which had an ensuite bathroom (individual showers in the hall) which felt like a dorm room.
All the girls I met during my 2 night stay were amazing! The hostel was super clean, perfectly located within walking distance to all the shops in the village, beautiful lounge, and has a restaurant on site. Also free parking.
It didn't even feel like a hostel! The staff were also friendly and helpful. I will def stay here again!

The location is perfect, in Lake Louise. I spent two nights in a basic single room. The bathroom and shower was shared. There are common areas like kitchen. It was the cheaper accommodation that I found it, but it was expensive. I paid 140CAD a night = 96 euros/night.

The hostel is certainly the cheapest of accommodation options in Lake Louise. We don't do dorms, so booked a double room with shared bathroom & shower which were all very basic but clean. Being upstairs, the room was warm, but there was a fan to help cool it down. We turned it off when we went to bed as it was too loud. Louder still, are the regular freight trains that rumble by during the night. The downstairs dining area was a bit of a dungeon & its kitchen not very well equipped or clean - there seemed to be lots of dirty dishes left in the sink or on the counters for staff to deal with.

The food at HI Lake Louise is far better than we expected to find at a hostel. The fish and chips are excellent, as are the burgers, sweet potato fries, and salads. The burgers were the best we found in all Alberta, with wonderful flavor and juicyness. The service was great, even when they were incredibly busy. The only negative I can think of is that they seemed to run out of things fairly frequently.
