We had a group of 6 adults needing a place to land for one night. In trying to keep costs down I was trying to get us squeezed into one room rather than having to book 2, or having to be sneaky - this was one of the only places I could find allowing 6 adults. Building has a real condo feel, and we had a 2-bedroom on the 2nd floor that also had a fold out couch in the large livingroom, slept 6 easily. Beds were good. The set-up worked great for us, much more bang for buck than hotelrooms with 2 double beds.
The bathroom was really small, so it wouldn't be good for a group of 6 that needed much mirror time in the morning or before going out - but there was a full-length mirror in one of the bedrooms.
Had a full kitchen. Breakfast was satisfactory. No problem with parking. Front desk has a little store with frozen dinners and juice and things if you want to get some snacks for the room. Would stay again.

We were delighted with the facilities, the location, it was dog friendly and car park next door. Plenty of room for two couples. The staff were very friendly and the free breakfast although basic was a welcome surprise. Would definitely stay there again when we're next in Calgary.

Really appreciated that breakfast was included in addition to each room having a kitchen. Quiet location and comfy bed so had a good sleep every night. Really liked that I could take the stairs to my room on the 7th floor (first stay) and 5th floor (second stay) although the elevators were fine. Friendly competent staff. With parking so expensive downtown, I really appreciated that I could leave my car in the hotel parking lot after check-out without extra charge. Will definitely stay here again.

We booked this hotel partly because of the great location. It was convenient for the downtown core and easily accessible to the things we needed. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly reception who welcomed us.

One of the reasons for booking the Regency was because the room was supposed to have a fully equipped kitchen and be home away from home. Unfortunately, the claim was not satisfied mainly due to poor housekeeping.

Some of the things we had issues with was that the suite sleeps 4 (our reservation was for 3) but there was only enough cutlery and seating in the dining area for 2 people. The kitchen was not fully equipped, for example non-stick pans were provided but there were no cooking utensils provided. We had to ask for a kettle. Only 2 sets of Towels were provided and every time we asked for a 3rd set we were given the excuse there were not enough towels in the hotel and they had to wash & dry them. By the time the towels were dry, the housekeeping staff had gone home and we were without the towels - pretty well every night for our entire stay of 7 nights. The front desk was never able to assist us once the housekeeping staff left. We spoke with the housekeeping EVERY day and still had this problem.

On one of the days, we did not get any housekeeping at all, and had to ask the front desk to remind them to clean the apartment & send up new towels. Housekeeping did not always take away garbage in Kitchen, unless we took the bin out from under the sink.

Breakfast was ok. But we would have preferred to be able to sit in our suite and eat our own food, if we'd had enough chairs at the kitchen table.

The air conditioner in the bedroom was a standing machine and VERY noisy when we tried to sleep at night. We could not open the windows of the room to get fresh air.

The wi-fi router was badly positioned as the blue light shone directly into the bedroom & living room sleeping areas from the ceiling.

Based on our experience, we would not stay here again.

Room was clean and well presented. We were able to use the stovetop and oven to cook our own meals and there is a refrigerator for those staying longer.

The front staff were very friendly, allowing us an early check in and a late check out with no additional charge.

Breakfast was basic (mainly continental with a few hot options). The breakfast area was extremely crowded while we were there.

Overall it was great for the price considering its location.
