The fellow who sat beside me for lunch at one of the picnic tables in the Farmers Market was raving about how tasty and tender his brisket was that he was eating.
So, I decided to order some for lunch the following day. The vendor said that the potato salad would be a superb compliment. He was right.
The brisket was fantastic.

Hubby always enjoys the ribs - as good as some of the best places he's been to in Memphis...I was pleasantly surprised by the Southwest Chicken Salad with spicy ranch dressing. We liike the marinated coleslaw and the cornbread. Great food, great service!

Tried Big T's at farmers market, staff behind counter kind of friendly. Ordered lunch brisket burger, which was so dry not sure how that can happen being brisket but it was soooo dry. Baked beans were hard and not cooked.Changed them for fries but felt had inconvenienced the staff when showed them the beans were not cooked, but then fries were so greasy, salty and over cooked. Had 1 piece meat, pulled pork was not pulled pork just chunks of pork, corn bread was not fresh, baked beans were hard, so threw my meal out.Pricey for what you.$37.00 for 2 small lunch entrees. I would spend a little more andgo elsewhere. get So weird as same restaurant farmers market and restaurant across from stadium in NW but restaurant is way better. Will not return to Big T;s at farmers market.
