This is my go to place in the summer when I need to think and walk. It feels like I'm out of the city . I can walk for a long way or a short way. the biggest challenge is don't get lost.

Not a big park, but gorgeous, natural beauty within city limits. Lots of small trails as well as some paved. Yes, it is a family friendly place. No play park or sports fields. There is an outdoor swimming pool open in the warmer months. It’s a perfect place for a walk in the woods.

We were in Edmonton for only half a day on a Sunday morning, and we tried to do the best that the city had to offer by combining breakfast at Muttart, a walk through Mill Creek Ravine and then coffee on Whyte Avenue. This was a highlight of that route, with good views over the city and the changing fall colours.

Great place to enjoy walking, or biking along the trails. Shaded in some areas, bridges to cross, some areas are open for dogs to tag along! Lovely scencery!

Lots of water and forested areas. I bring my dogs here and they love the openness, but it also stays along a trail so they don't get lost.
