We came in just before the breakfast service ended and lunch menu started (11:30), and I had the oatmeal and coffee and my husband had the Canadian breakfast. Good portions of quality food. We were not rushed and the service was friendly and efficient, the surroundings are special, 1920's luxury, with antique animal head's in the lobby. Glad we came in.

Located right on the very egde of the main shopping block, 4-5 stairs to get from street to main floor, and stair cases to get to 1st & 2nd floors, no elevator. Bedroom and shared bathroom are both very small & basic, but functional, rooms do not have coffee maker or kettle and no coffee or tea amenities. However the bed was extremely comfortable, staff were very friendly & accommodating, price was the lowest in town & the location is fantastic. I would recommend requesting a room which faces the street, but away from the bar, as the bass & drum from the music in the main floor bar goes right up through that side of the building. Staff, location & bed so good I'd stay here again

The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of Jasper. If you are looking for an authentic place to stay this could be for you. Stuffed animal heads adorn the entrance vestibule whetting your appetite for possible live sightings during your stay in and around Jasper.
Serving and bar staff are helpful and friendly. They make an excellent Caesar!
We were here with our son and I booked two rooms. Booking.com offered us two rooms with a shared bathroom. We assumed the bathroom would be between the two rooms. We were surprised to discover that the two rooms did not share a bathroom but they had access to communal bathrooms, one for men and one for women. As far as I was aware the two bathrooms were shared by all the guests on the floor. This communal bathroom consisted of a toilet behind one partition and a bath/shower behind another partition. A wash basin was in a central area. There were small locks to close the partitions. Access to the central area was gained by using the room key for the bedroom door. There was however no way to lock this door from inside. This meant that little privacy was afforded to guests.
The bed was comfortable and the washbasin was of a good size.
The bedrooms however were very small. There was nothing at the side of the bed to lay a glass of water, spectacles or a mobile phone.

We booked here for three nights and i can say that aside from the very accessible location from the train station, the best thing about this hotel is the accommodating staff.:) we never actually hd a problem during our stay.
I found the hotel interior vintage but cozy and a homey vibe..:) We got the roomwith two queen sized beds...sheets clean, bathroom clean...:) our view was great, and we had a lot of sunlight during the day:) the heater works perfectly fine too. they just didnt hve a bar for coffee and all like other hotels, they dont hve a fridge too...
If youre gonna stay here as a family, you should get the one woth a private toilet and bath coz they also have the rooms with sharing bathroom facilities. Its pretty cheap for its location. Very near restos and shops of you just wana walk around jasper town.
Oh! And they have an ice dispenser.:)) they just didnt seem to have enough power outlets, we also had to use the in in the bathroom to charge our gadgets because there were inky two sockets.
The hotel manager was commendable.:) we had a lot of baggage when were about to leave for our train ride to vancouver, when he saw it, (our 6 luggages), he offered to take us to the train station using the hotel car even if its just a 2 minute walk going to the station. He drove us there and even helped carry our baggage.:) good hotel. Good people.:)

cheapest place We could get in town that weekend, happened to be pretty good., The rooms are very small though. We had a shared shower but it was clean.
The staff were great. The bed was comfortable.
I wouldn't recommend the food there.

Room tip: get a room on the backside it is much quieter
