We spent one night at the hotel. Room rates were excellent. We booked a room with a bathroom en suite. Quite a few rooms had shared bathrooms. This hotel was built in 1929 and the decor emphasizes its age in a nice way. Lobby filled with stuffed animal heads on the wall which although not to my liking, certainly gave it character. Our room was huge with two queen beds and a dressing table similar to one my mom had circa 1947. Beds were very comfy , bathroom clean and functional. TV small but adequate although no CNN. Rooms are on two floors and there are no elevators. Plenty of free parking. Very well located in downtown Jasper within walking distance of probably every kind of restaurant. It was fun to stay in a hotel that had so much character, even though we used it only for a place to sleep. We are not fussy people so little things don't bother us eg a bit of noise from other guests, or the thermostat in the room not working very well. Would definitely stay there again if we returned to Jasper.More
